In this week edition of my garden tour, visitation and inspection. It was a bit hectic because I have to drive as far as almost 4okilometers before I could get to this place. Meanwhile,it's a place I have been visiting before hand but it was just like a compound situated in a nearby market called Oja-Tuntun. Oja-Tuntun which is interpretly means the New-Market. It's a place where all kind of varieties of items are sold. So it's a place I have been visiting often.

In this amazing garden,I was able to come across a moringa tree which has bear some fruit, even the fruit is dried and somehow ready for use. I have once posted and talked about the moringa in one of my garden visit sometimes ago. According to some people, they said the moringa seeds can cure varieties of diseases if used judiciously. It's very rear to find this kind of tree in most homes here in Nigeria.

CASSAVA PLANTS

IMG_20210518_104518_346.jpg
Another thing that amazed me is the plant I came across which have been my first time to across this popular plant which can only be found in a big farm but this garden is able to contain a little of this plant.
According to Source they stated that Cassava, (Manihot esculenta), also called manioc, mandioca, or yuca, tuberous edible plant of the spurge family (Euphorbiaceae) from the American tropics. It is cultivated throughout the tropical world for its tuberous roots, from which cassava flour, breads, tapioca, a laundry starch, and an alcoholic beverage are derived. Cassava probably was first cultivated by the Maya in Yucatán

SCOTCH BONNET

IMG_20210518_104718_521.jpg
This is a scotch bonnet but here locally we call it ata-rodo. This kind of plant is a plant that can grow on it own even if the seeds are thrown to fetile soil, hence it will start germinating and growing on it.
According to Source stated that Scotch bonnet, also known as bonney peppers, or Caribbean red peppers,[1] is a variety of chili pepper named for its resemblance to a tam o' shanter hat.[2][3] It is ubiquitous in West Africa.[4] Most Scotch bonnets have a heat rating of 100,000–350,000 Scoville units.[5] For comparison, most jalapeño peppers have a heat rating of 2,500 to 8,000 on the Scoville scale. However, completely sweet varieties of Scotch bonnet called cachucha peppers are grown on some of the Caribbean islands.

MAIZE PLANT

Lastly, this is a maize plant, a perennial crop, which can grow with relatively minimal efforts, according to the owner of this garden, this maize plant is just 5 weeks old and best planted during early rainy season days
