A magical ritual is nothing more than a ceremony of transformation, of intimate change. A definitive change of vision. To stop being who you are to be someone else; to be the same, but different and better. A personal decision to make choices that until then were unthinkable or repressed, but that from that moment on become irreversible.
This is always possible when we allow ourselves to see beyond the veil of illusion provided by personal shadows. In your case, fear prevented you from seeing clearly. When you controlled it, you were able to see what you could not see before.
No one needs a guru or a master to be able to reach that level or have the most subtle vision of reality. No one can do it for you, you have to be alone and in meditation talking to yourself. You have to silence the screams that the shadow possesses, as well as the fear.
You have to equip yourself with good knowledge so that you can help your mind to realize good ideas, as well as let good feelings flourish and transform ideas into wisdom through the choices you will make from now on. Wisdom is that elevated knowledge that you apply in your daily life.
What do I get in the ritual?
In the ritual, by meeting yourself, you get the answers to the doubts that torment you. This is transformation, it is a conversation with the truth; with your truth. Although it is not definitive, it is a function of the level of consciousness and loving capacity reached so far; this will happen at other times.
It is a solitary ritual of transformation - as a ritual of transformation should be - because it is a personal and intimate encounter. A true magic ritual is one that is always within the reach of anyone and not a monopoly of false magicians and opportunistic gurus, who claim to be holders of secret circles of knowledge and power, with the intention of making a profit. The truth, although profound, is simple and accessible to everyone.
There are no privileged ones in the eyes of the Universe; no one is endowed with special powers, except those that each one has over oneself. Any force of domination over another person is a dark, undue and contrary manifestation of the light.
This is what differentiates a true master from a "guru". The master shows you the way forward, he cannot show you the solution; he shows you the subjective possibilities and never offers the objective answer. It forces you to think. Whereas a guru just gives you a ready-made answer, which seemingly avoids effort and takes the responsibility for decisions away from you; this can lead to dependency and a lack of significant progress. The guru only lives by dominating others, be very careful with this. The universe, or God, or life, or whatever you want to call it, sows you with freedom, yours and all people's freedom.
They are important rituals, of great value and have their application. However, none is more important than the one that leads you to the encounter with yourself. For this, any corner is good, every day is a good day.
Stillness and solitude are enough to know oneself more and more each day. Magic is transformation, only this. There is nothing extraordinary about a magical ceremony, except for the inner transformation it brings about; there is nothing sophisticated about it, except for the encounter with the true and definitive master. Each one is the master of himself.
The wise men of humanity often make use of those who have preceded them. However, they allow themselves to go further. The lights of the world help me to kindle my own light. Likewise, it is essential not to walk all the time guided by the enlightenment of others. There should be no dependence or vice, as the light of the other may not be available tomorrow.
It is indispensable that we have our own light. Only then will we be able to walk the Way as it should be walked: with our own feet.
If the solutions pacified your soul they are perfect for you at this moment of existence. To hear the solutions you found is to be tempted to influence them with my truth. I would run the risk of erring by my eyes. Err and get it right, but always guided by your master. Look for it in your true temple, the heart.
Mistakes are inevitable; they will happen, but they will also help in your evolution. Mistakes are powerful helpers of the true masters. Error is an effective method of evolution as long as you surround it with love and have the firm purpose of learning from your lessons. Just as I see teachers everywhere, I see a teacher within the true temple of truth, within me. To learn, to walk, to share and to continue the lesson, is to be free. And remember, one day at a time.
