Naish Park is one of the local parks in Balclutha, a small town in South Otago, New Zealand where I am living at the moment. This park is only about 2 minutes walking from my house, so this is one of the places that I often visit for a walk and to relax on weekends.
Currently, New Zealand has entered the beginning of spring, the weather is getting warmer, spring flowers are blooming everywhere, young shoots are also strongly sprouting green young leaves. It can be said that this is the most beautiful time of the year when everything seems to be full of new vitality and positive energy.
Spring atmosphere is also present quite clearly in Naish Park. Along the path from the gate to the park, the cherry blossom trees are also in full bloom and emitting a very pleasant and cool fragrance. The grass also turns into a young green dotted with tiny white weed flowers.
The warm weather also invites more people to come to the park for a walk, the playground is again bustling with the sound of children playing. Everything seems to be getting more and more lively. For me, Balclutha is a rather boring small town, but when walking in this park, seeing people happily walking around, listening to children playing, I suddenly fell in love with the peaceful beauty of this town.
Spending time for a walk in the park after a stressful day or week is a great way to recharge for both my physical and mental health. Getting a dose of fresh air is irresistible to relax and start the weekend off right. When being surrounded by trees, flowers, and green grass it's impossible not to feel refreshed.
