A hungry hello to you #plantbased chefs of Hive, it's @JustinParke here with the latest Plant Power Cooking Challenge and last week's winners. I, @NaturalMedicine's Plant-Based Curator, get the chance to highlight some of Hive's most delicious creations each week through this challenge.

WEEK #14 🙋‍♂️ ARE YOU NOT ENTERTAINED?

      I hope that each week's new featured ingredients not only keep you entertained, but also inspired to step outside the comfort zone. I can't remember if I've featured asparagus recently or not, but I crave it and haven't eaten it in years, so I hope you chefs will please my taste buds with some virtual asparagus to enjoy.

     Alright chefs, no time to waste, let's get the no-bake date ball rollin'!!

MATCHA CHIA POWER CUPS | PLANT POWER COOKING 🧁🍵

     Matcha green tea is pleasing enough as a beverage, but it's also a ppowdered creative and caffeinating ingredient that takes many desserts to the next level. These chia cups are next level indeed, and I bet they are very filling. You must check this post out, especially if you access to walnuts, because you'll surely want to re-create this in your kitchen.

     Chefs @carolynstahl and @chacald.dcymt shared some delicious recipes too, and both posts are worthy of a visit from you Hivers. The udon noodle stir-fry had me attempting to smell the sesame seeds through the screen, and the congrí reminded me of the perfect partnership that beans and rice are, the one she shared being the Cuban take on this classic dish.

GRAPEFRUIT

PINEAPPLE

The Rules

  • You can create a dish with all three ingredients, or just one, or even two.
  • You can use any other ingredient you like, but one of the listed vegetables should be the feature of the dish.
  • You can use item(s) from the other column if you'd like to use a sweet in your savory or a savory in your sweet, but you must use at least one ingredient in the recommended flavor style.
  • No animal products can be used
  • Post in the Natural Medicine community and use any other tag such as #vegan, #plantbased, and #foodie, as your secondary tags
