Rising up to the all time high (a poem on the awakening of the goddess of fortune Lakshmi devi)

Lakshmi devi pixa.jpg

On an on we chase the prize
shooting for the moon above
holding on until the rise
of the kundalini love

speak in whispers in my ear
tell me how you see the light
know the future loud and clear
sure as day both day and night

listen to the pounding drum
beating heart within my chest
bang the drum 'til kingdom come
from the east unto the west

like the rising sun once more
shrouded in the mists of time
hear the waves crash on the shore
no more reason only rhyme

Nothing ventured nothing gained
weigh the lot size, pay the price
your reward returned ten fold
long term holder roll the dice

volatile the waves of wealth
winding up and down the mean
trending for optimal health
now you see what was unseen

Future treasures, crown of gold
sapphire silver pendant charm
whisk me to the promised land
here we go now arm in arm

Smiling serpent red and green
show your merciful touchstone
always with me on the scene
never will I be alone

charmed and touched by heaven’s light
onward upward victory waits
see those treasures twinkling bright
I approach pure heaven’s gates

Treasures of this world and next
pouring down upon my soul
filled with coin, sight and text
let it flow and make me whole

Now’s the time like none before
the best is yet to come behold
see my glory and my charms
tokens of your love unfold

rising up to your full might
glory at your all time high
see the future in plain sight
to the moon I see you fly

It’s been a while yet worth the wait
determination, patience pays
cross the bridge unlock the gate
fortune flows 'til end of days

Here's a little poem I wrote today while meditating on the goddess of fortune, known as Lakshmi devi in the Vedic culture of India. She is the consort of Vishnu, the primeval original causeless cause of all causes. The divine couple, as they are known, are the summum bonum from which everything else emanates. The feminine aspect of divinity is metaphorically seen as the source of fortune, and is known by numerous names and attributes. Kundalini shakti, Radharani, etc. She has some other expansions like Durga, Kali or Maya devi. Of course, the divine couple are also within each one of us too and the yogi is trained to meditate on the divine couple within the region of the heart. Tapping in to the flow of mercy from them will fulfill all desires, both mundane and transcendental. The concept of wealth can be seen as money or also consciousness of course. It all depends on what your concept of treasure is. There is more opulence available on the metaphysical plane than on the physical, which is a 3 dimensional bi-product of the original non-material multi-dimensional realm. All mundane desires are fulfilled when the transcendent source is attained.
