It's Feels Good To Be Grateful, Shamelessly Tagging To Show My Appreciation

I've been back on Hive for about 3 months now after an almost three-year break and I wanted to share my gratitude with you all.

I kind of fell back into it when I went on discord trying to tokenize my art on Opensea.io. I sent my beautiful friend @riverflows a private message to say hi and that I was thinking about coming back. She was super happy and sent me an invite straight back into the #naturalmedicine community server on discord.

To say that I was blown away by the way the NM community had grown would be an understatement.

Back in 2018, after Facebook culled my natural health pages, I put a message in the #ecotrain community to ask if anyone was interested in starting a Natural medicine channel and possibly a side shoot to Ecotrain. I wanted it to be something that wouldn't be censored so the idea of sharing personal experiences came about. Along with this, I wanted to have an archival record of ancestral medicine so that these ancient natural remedies would be preserved on the blockchain and not forgotten.
@riverflows, Wren (some of you may remember her), and I started exploring the possibilities which eventually birthed @naturalmedicine. Unfortunately due to our family's move offgrid, and a great deal of personal issues going on at home surrounding all that, I took a back seat and eventually drifted away from Steemit. I pretty much left @riverflows in the lurch with building the Nat Med community and she held it together, doing an amazing job to build it up to what it is today.

Upon returning, the community was 3000 subs strong (now over 4k), and it had grown into something far better than what I had originally envisioned for it. Many great people are all working hard as curators, moderators, pollinators, spreading the good vibes and mindful ethos that Natural Medicine embodies. @justinparke, @pavanjr, @danielapevs, @drrune, @phoenixwren,@minismallholding, and all other curators and moderators. To you all, I am eternally grateful and I am so glad to be on board with you.

There is even a frontend via Naturalmedicine.io and it has its own chat feature, which is great for new users and those who are not on Hive. The content on NM is fantastic and there are a great variety of challenges, ways to engage, and even a sister account @lotusshares to help spread the love. As if that wasn't enough there is even a Lotus token now that rewards good content and more from the frontend.

Reconnecting and Finding New Friends & Communities

Back in the discord server, I made friends with some beautiful souls such as @vincentnijman, @alchemage, @olaunlimited and reconnected with some of my lovely friends from back in the day, @trucklife-family and @eco-alex. From reading posts and engaging I have connected with some lovely souls such as @cabelindsay @nahupuku, @franciscodesousa, @edwardstobia, @bulldog-joy, @plantstoplanks, @buckaroobaby, @juliopalomo, and my dear friend @mipiano, who we discovered that we share a love of music and used to live near each other in real life in Spain.

Hive is such a diverse place, I started exploring different communities and stumbled across #hiveopenmic. I wasn't disappointed. Back in the days of Steemit, the open mic was a contest and I had always been too shy to share any music there. This new community on Hive, helped me to find some more beautiful connections, new friends, and fantastic music. The element of competition has gone to create this positive and ambient place where musicians from all over the world feel comfortable to share their talents and I am truly honored to be part of it. I like the way we can support and uplift each other. Showing love and appreciation.

I'm so in awe of how beautiful the Hive platform has become that my enthusiasm has spilled out in the real world. I even managed to get a few of my friends involved too. @thecryptidcrone, @audiohive-me, and @queenoftheworld. You all are ace in real life and thank you for joining in with the fun here on Hive.

I wanted to say a big thank you to @OCD, and all those actively involved within that community. You all work hard to help newcomers, plankton, and minnows like me feel valued and noticed in the vast ocean that is Hive. @acidyo was one of the first people I followed and witnesses I voted for when I joined Steemit back in 2017. If you don't already vote for them I would highly recommend it!

Speaking of feeling valued as an author, @abundance.tribe, formally known as @tribesteemup was a community that I had been part of prior to leaving, and I am super grateful to my beautiful friend @trucklife-family for her suggestion for @kennyskitchen to welcome me back in. The bi-weekly questions are now open to anyone on hive and if you fancy having a deep dive into your thoughts, I highly recommend answering them. Keep an eye out in the community for the next one.

Did I miss anyone out?

I've been exploring more communities on the Hive blockchain and have found #musicforlife to be a lovely bunch of folk. #teamuk supports content created by authors from the UK. I'm sure with time, I will find more...

So there we have it, folks, I shamelessly tagged you all.

I felt the need to share my gratitude because here on the blockchain is where I feel at home on Social Media. I love the positivity, kindness, and all-round vibe that this place shares. I hope I haven't left anyone out. If I have I am sorry, you are all wonderful and I value every interaction I have here.

So from the bottom of my heart, I'm throwing loads of love out there to you all, with my deepest gratitude to let you know how much you all make this space an amazing place to be.

As a token of my gratitude I have nominated @lotusshares, @abundance.tribe and @hive.fund to each receive a little beneficiary payment from this post.
