The pen is in your hands

Jera has appeared three days in a row as the Night Rune and, although I've only had vague memories of my dreams, I know that all of them are associated with circles of influence and public reach, something that I've been exploring and decreeing for months. In fact, next week we'll have a Full Moon in Capricorn, and with it this personal process will attain a far deeper, more potent level . This inspires me to share the following insight.

We're all fully responsible for our reality. When we say that we've been forced by the circumstances to do this or that, we must also be aware that those circumstances are the result of our decisions; when we claim that we've had to change our behavior or our goals because of the actions of others, it's vital that we recognize that it's been us who have put ourselves in that position.

But today I want to talk about the other side of that responsibility: the huge power that we have of transforming our surrounding first in our thoughts, then tangibly. The word Authority comes from the Latin auctor which means, among other things, "creator", "origin" and "commander". When we exercise our will and cause changes in our environment, we're simultaneously creating and discovering our narrative, that depends on nobody but ourselves and although this is indeed a fundamental responsibility, it's also a constant evidence of our freedom. We can see ourselves as soldiers or generals, as the oppressed or the emancipators, the perspective is always under our control, our only real obligation is to gain awareness of this great power.

I encourage you to recognize your capacities to administer and shape your experiences at all levels, to assume gracefully and firmly your Authority upon yourselves and, by extension, upon all the spaces you inhabit. Know yourselves as creators, artists, inventors. Put aside all those stories that make you feel victims of a terrible system that prevents you from thinkin or acting in accordance to your principles, the system is also you and if you feel the weight of chains, it's because you've forged the links and put on the shackles; you can break those chanis in the same manner, approaching life with a new sense of belonging and expansion.

La pluma está en sus manos

Jera ha aparecido tres días seguidos como Runa Nocturna y, si bien sólo he tenido recuerdos vagos de mis sueños, sé que todos están asociados a círculos de influencia y alcance público, algo que he estado explorando y decretando desde hace meses. En efecto, la semana que viene tendremos Luna Llena en Capricornio, con la cual este proceso personal llegará a un nivel muchísimo más profundo y potente. Esto me inspira a compartir la siguiente reflexión.

Todos somos plenamente responsables sobre nuestra realidad. Cuando decimos que hemos sido obligados por las circunstancias a hacer ésto o aquello, debemos también estar al tanto de que esas circunstancias son resultado de nuestras decisiones; cuando afirmamos que hemos tenido que cambiar nuestra conducta o nuestros objetivos por acción de otros, es imperioso que reconozcamos que hemos sido nosotros los que nos hemos puesto en esa posición.

Pero hoy quiero hablar de la otra cara de esa responsabilidad: el enorme poder que tenemos para transformar nuestro entorno primero en nuestros pensamientos, luego tangiblemente. La palabra Autoridad proviene del Latín auctor, que significa entre otras cosas "creador", "origen" y "comandante". Cuando ejercemos nuestra voluntad y generamos cambios a nuestro alrededor, estamos a la vez creando y descubriendo nuestra narrativa, eso no depende de nadie más que nosotros mismos y aunque en efecto es una responsabilidad fudamental, también es una constante evidencia de nuestra libertad. Podemos vernos como soldados o generales, como oprimidos o emancipadores, la perspectiva está siempre bajo nuestro control, nuestra única obligación real es hacernos conscientes de este gran poder.

Les invito a reconocer sus capacidades para administrar y moldear sus experiencias a todos los niveles, a asumir con gracia y firmeza su Autoridad sobre ustedes mismos y, por extensión, sobre los espacios en los que habitan. Sépanse creadores, artistas, inventores. Echen a un lado todas esas historias que los hacen sentir víctimas de un sistema terrible que no les permite pensar ni actuar según sus principios, el sistema son ustedes también y si sienten el peso de cadenas, es porque han forjado los eslabones y se han puesto los grilletes; de igual manera pueden romper todas esas cadenas, aproximarse a la vida con un nuevo sentido de pertenencia y expansión.
