Recently, I've been stuck at work and don't have much time or energy to do anything interesting when I get back home. I have also convinced myself that 10 minutes walk to the office and back is enough exercise for a day. Who am I kidding, right?
I'm always looking forward to the weekend as this is the time when I can finally relax. The weather hasn't been treating us well for several weeks now, and therefore most of my weekend activities are happening inside.
Last weekend, I was so happy that we had a few hours without raining and we could finally go out for a walk! We walked in a forest for more than 2 hours and it was great! I hope that the weather will change soon and we will be able to do it more often - probably not this weekend as it's raining again.
My program for this weekend will mostly be cleaning, reading, sleeping and cooking. Nothing exciting, I know, but I have to say that my apartment has never been this clean - always focus on the positive!
Let's talk about our last walk...
I was surprised to see so many mushrooms. I know it's a perfect time of the year for them but I haven't seen that many before. I don't even know if any of them are edible but I assume not as I would think that if they would be edible someone would have picked them up.
Most of the mushrooms that we saw were brown or yellow, but my husband kept looking for the red ones as they would fit in his pictures collection. Sadly, we didn't find them.
Here are the ones that we found instead...
I love all those vibrant colors that we can see in the forest during this time of the year. I just wish I wouldn't have to wear a raincoat when I want to go to see them.
Walking in nature is like a balm on my soul. It's the best way for me to relax and regain my energy. It feels like going home...
I hope that those gray and rainy days will be over soon and we will be able to enjoy some sun this autumn as well!
Thank you for visiting!
Cheers,
Martina
