Plant Power Cooking Challenge | Week #10 | Chocolate Mousse Cake

Several times I prepared Chocolate Cake, but when I was searching for some recipe for Plant Power Cooking Challenge | Week #10 | using cocoa I found this interesting recipe and immediately decided to make it.
Very few ingredients are required for this amazingly delicious Chocolate Mousse Cake, before starting just have a look at my Cake....

Ingredients Used

  • Corn flour 1/2 cup
  • Cocoa powder 1/4 cup + 1 tsp for sprinkle
  • Soy milk 1 litre or 4 cups
  • Sugar 1/2 cup or as per taste
  • Vanilla essence 1/2 tsp
  • Dark chocolate/compound grated 1/4 cup
  • Salt a pinch

Procedure

  • In a bowl add cornflour, cocoa powder and salt, mix well.

  • Now add 2 cups of soy milk and mix to make a uniform lump-free liquid. Strain it.
  • In a heavy bottom pan start to heat this liquid and add the remaining milk and sugar. Stir continuously on low to medium flame.

  • It will convert into a thick paste within 5 minutes of heating. keep string otherwise it may stick at the bottom.
  • Add grated dark chocolate and let it melt.

  • Switch off the flame and aff vanilla, let it cool down to room temperature.
  • In a tray layer it with butter paper and pour this thick mixture into it.

  • Keep in the fridge for 8 hours or overnight. I kept for overnight.
  • Take it out from the tray and sprinkle cocoa powder on it.
  • Cut into pieces and serve it.
