Continuing with the idea of establishing personal records in each of the tracks of the unforgettable Mario Kart 64, it's the turn of the second Circuit that has the name: Moo Moo Farm, a very peculiar name that I had never really detailed, honoring the animation of the map that has many cows in a huge farm that will be our circuit. As a curious fact, it turns out that this map is the smallest of all Mario Kart 64, so the times will be the lowest in the whole game. The mechanics is maintained, establishing a record difficult to overcome by keeping the driving only by the track, without bugs and without shortcuts, although I think this map has no shortcuts. Before starting to set a personal record, I wanted to give first 2 test runs to try to fit the circuit and memorize key curves that I could use to set the shortest time possible, the circuit has 2 somewhat complicated curves, these curves are where the moles are that come out of surprise and can hit us, so I tried to try several ways to try to persuade those rogues and take advantage of those curves, but the truth is that after many attempts to test it seemed best to go around them so as not to have many headaches, because on several occasions I tried to make curves passing over them before leaving, and when I thought I was going to set a record I was hit by a mole and lost the whole race. From the beginning it was a bit difficult to find a key point in the circuit where I could take advantage of each of the three turbos given for the race, but being a virtually flat track, I decided to use each turbo after skidding in the final curve before the finish line and passing through the right most part of the bridge to save a few thousandths of a second. Having everything ready, I gave myself the opportunity of a few tests to begin to establish a record, reaching a time of __01'25''63__, noting that each lap I was doing in a very similar time but making some very open curves, which made me think that very probably if I did 3 perfect laps I could decrease much the time I had already set. After many practices, trying to perfect the curves to make them as close as possible without tripping over the moles, I decided to try about 20 more times, and the truth is that the results were quite good, decreasing considerably the average of 28 seconds per lap.

Finally I was able to set a record of __01'23''36__, with the fastest lap of __00'27''74__, I lowered by more than 2 seconds the first record I had already set, even as you can see in the image on the right, that first record I had set, is now the fifth best record I have, the fastest lap in general was __00'27''62__, the truth is that it is possible to do a shorter time, but the level of precision must be quite high, so I want to encourage you to beat my record and show me your ability behind the wheel of Mario Kart 64. As an advice I will always give them to try to establish and improve their times, is to try different strategies and stay with the one they are most comfortable with, even if they are not comfortable with some strategy, they can try to perfect it so they can try to get even below __01'20''00__, a pretty difficult task, but maybe with a lot of practice it can be achieved, I am sure that later I will get marks in all the circuits that I thought I could never get. Continuando con la idea de establecer records personales en cada una de las pistas del inolvidable Mario Kart 64, le toca el turno al segundo Circuito que lleva por nombre: Moo Moo Farm, un nombre muy peculiar que la verdad nunca me había puesto a detallar, haciendo honor a la animación del mapa que tiene muchas vacas en una enorme granja que será nuestro circuito. Como dato curioso, resulta que este mapa es el más pequeño de todo Mario Kart 64, por lo que los tiempos cronometrados serán los más bajos de todo el juego. La mecánica se mantiene, establecer un record difícil de superar manteniendo la conducción únicamente por la pista, sin bugs y sin atajos, aunque creo que este mapa no tiene ningun atajo. Antes de empezar a establecer un record personal, quise dar primero 2 carreras de pruebas para intentar acoplarme al circuito y memorizar curvas claves que podría aprovechar para establecer el menor tiempo posible, el circuito cuenta con 2 curvas un tanto complicadas, estás curvas son en donde se encuentran los topos que salen de forma sorpresiva y nos pueden golpear, por lo que intenté probar varias formas para intentar persuadir a esos granujas y aprovechar esas curvas, pero la verdad, después de muchos intentos de prueba me pareció que lo mejor era rodearlos para no tener muchos dolores de cabeza, pues en varias ocasiones intenté hacer curvas pasando por encima de ellos antes de salir, y cuando creía que iba a establecer un record me golpeaba un topo y perdía toda la carrera. Desde un inicio me costó un poco encontrar un punto clave del circuito en el que pudiese aprovechar cada uno de los tres turbos que dan para la carrera, pero al ser una pista prácticamente plana, decidí utilizar cada turbo luego de derrapar en la curva final antes de la meta y pasando por la parte más a la derecha del puente para ahorrar unas cuantas milésimas de segundo. Cada mapa tiene un acorde musical que se adecua bastante bien, y en lo particular, con Moo Moo Farm me la pasé genial intentando estabelcer una marca, pues la música del estilo granjera alegra bastante y hacer dar buenos ánimos. Franja Nueva MARIOKART.png

Ya teniendo todo listo, me dí la oportunidad de unas cuantas pruebas para empezar a establecer una marca, llegando a un tiempo de __01'25''63__, notando que cada vuelta la estaba haciendo en un tiempo muy similar pero haciendo algunas curvas muy abiertas, lo que me hacía pensar que muy seguramente si hacía 3 vueltas perfectas podía disminuir mucho el tiempo que ya había establecido. Luego de muchas practicas, intentando perfeccionar las curvas para hacerlas lo mas cerrada posible sin tropezarme con los topos, decidí intentarlo unas 20 veces más, y la verdad es que los resultados fueron bastante buenos disminuyendo considerablemente el promedio de 28 segundos por vuelta.

Finalmente pude establecer una marca de __01'23''36__, con la vuelta más rápida de __00'27''74__, bajé más de 2 segundos el primer record que ya había establecido, incluso como podrán ver en la imagen de la derecha, ese primer record que había impuesto, ahora es el quinto mejor record que tengo, la vuelta más rápida en general ha sido de __00'27''62__, la verdad es posible hacer un tiempo menor, pero el nivel de precisión debe ser bastante alto, por lo que quiero animarlos a superar mi marca y demostrarme su habilidad tras el volante de Mario Kart 64. Como un consejo que siempre les daré para tratar de establecer y mejorar sus tiempos, es probar diferentes estrategias y quedarse con la que más cómodos se puedan sentir, incluso si no se sienten cómodos con alguna estrategia, pueden intentar perfeccionarla para así intentar bajar incluso de __01'20''00__, una tarea bastante difícil, pero quizás con mucha practica se pueda lograr, estoy seguro que más adelante obtendré marcas en todos los circuitos que creí que jamás podría obtener. Anímate y se parte de esta travesía de recorrer cada mapa del juego intentando batir una marca personal que supere a la del resto de personas.
