Dates Silky Pudding | Plantbased Cooking Challenged

Hello guys,
As usual, I join to weekly cooking #plantbased challenge by @justinparke and today I want to cook a dessert of dates.
As you know, the dates is one of the types of dried fruit that tastes sweet and has a carb good for the fighters diet.
Btw, the dates that I select is the sukari dates as usual consumption. Because I'm a lover of dates!
I choose sukari dates because these dates are very sweet and can be used as a sweetener for dish.

This time, I want to make dates silky pudding.

Ingredients:

  • 1 pack of Agar-Agar (proper to mix gelatin with jelly)
  • Dates
  • Palm sugar
  • 100gr Sugar
  • Pandan leaves
  • Coconut milk
  • Water

How to cook:

  • Mix the agar-agar and jelly. Add sugar, pandan leaves, coconut milk and water. Mix well. Then bring to a boil. After boiling, remove to a bowl.

  • Chill the pudding in the refrigerator for 15-30 minutes.

  • Heat 100ml of water, 40gr palm sugar and 4 grains of date palm. Then after boiling, turn off the stove and strain.
    The pudding on a plate, flush with the dressing of dates.

  • Pudding date palm ready to be served.

This dish is very suitable to eat with afternoon tea. It was sweet and soft as silk. Let's try!
