As past of my 2022 manifestations and my mantra, I am starting my year right by joining a not-so-very-challenging yoga class with @lifewithera. I've been meaning to attend a class in a newly opened wellness studio here in Cebu, Dawata Wellness. The owner, Sepfry has been teaching yoga in several studios and holds retreats from time to time. We met several times and got invited to their opening last month but I wasn't able to attend due to some important matters.

I decided last week to attend a class at Dawata and I mentioned it to @lifewithera when we saw each other in our place. She told me she would love to attend. I checked the schedule and rates for their classes then we decided to book for a Vinyasa class at 10:30am. I was in the city that time while Era was coming from Talisay. We both arrived on time and we saw some familiar faces.

The class was challenging for me because it was the 1st yoga class I attended for a while and it really focused on core strengthening binding and a lot of balancing. But afterall, we definitely enjoyed it. Teacher Blainne was very good in giving us variations for difficult poses. She even said that the flow was actually easy it just so happen that the poses for that class is not the usual poses we practice most of the time. It was a very sweaty, empowering, relaxing and stress-relieving practice which we definitely need.

After the class, we took turns in taking photos of our yoga poses while the rest of our classmates and teacher are having some chit chat about the class and their experiences. It was nice to be surrounded by people with great energy. It was contagious.
