My Song 🎶 To Hive Music Festival - Week N°66 - Round 3 "Cumpleaños... | Ecency

Hello community. We reach week 66, Round 3 of this fabulous Festival that inspires and encourages us and keeps us working with wonderful music.

Today I prepared for you a song composed by Luis Cruz and that Emilio Arvelo recorded in 1965. The song "hit" immediately, it became fashionable but it never stopped being fashionable. It's about "Oh, what a beautiful night" or "Happy birthday."

And there it goes until concluding with the last line in which "and I pray to God that you have a happy birthday" which they replace in Caracas like this:

Hola, comunidad. Llegamos a la semana 66, Round 3 de este fabuloso Festival que nos inspira y alienta y nos mantiene trabajando con la maravillosa música.

Hoy preparé para ustedes una canción compuesta por Luis Cruz y que grabó Emilio Arvelo en 1965. La canción "pegó" de inmediato, se puso de moda pero nunca dejo de estar de moda. Se trata de "Ay, que noche tan preciosa" o "Cumpleaños feluz".
Antes de 1965 en todo cumpleaños venezolano se entonaba una versión. hispana del "Happy Birthday" de USA:

Cumpleaños feluz
te deseamos a tí
cumpleaños (nombre del cumpleañero)
cumpleaños feliz

Pero cuando llegó la canción de Luis Cruz entonada por Emilio Arvelo gustó tanto que enseguida comenzó a cantarse en los cumpleaños, combinada con la breve versión latina del Happy Birthday.

Como una peculiaridad recogemos el hecho de que se canta en todos los cumpleaños venezolanos y aunque a veces se entona primero el Happy Birthday otras veces se entona el Happy Birthday después, ya está combinación de ambas canciones ha pase o a ser parte de las tradiciones de una Venezuela en la que se canta todos los días (porque siempre hay alguien cumpliendo años).

Al terminar el canto el cumpleañero apaga las velas y se encienden las luces (que se apagan apenas se comienza a entonar el canto).

La frase "y que está luna plateada" es cambiada por "y que este sol tan radiante" cuando se entona de día.

En algunos ambientes se le agrega una letra jocosa, una especie de parodia, que arranca desde el "tus más íntimos amigos" Coro: ¡Y enemigos!
"Esta noche te acompañan" Coro: ¡Tomando caña!
Y por allí se va hasta concluir con la última línea en la que "y ruego a Dios porque pases un cumpleaños feliz"
que sustituyen en Caracas asi :

'...porque pases la noche haciendo pipí
con los pañales que te di
que los compré en el Sambil
y me costaron 30 mil
con mi tarjeta Mercantil
que me robaron al salir.

Ay que noche tan preciosa

Cumpleaños feliz,
te deseamos a ti

cumpleaños, (...)
cumpleaños feliz

¡Ay! que noche tan preciosa
es la noche de tu día
todos llenos de alegría
en esta fecha natal
