entry seaphotography 190: boats

here in norway we celebrate midsummer's night each year on june 23rd. all along the coast it is celebrated either in a boat or along the seashore. here in our town there is a boat cortege with plenty of boats. pretty much everyone who has a boat is in the cortege which lasts a couple of hours and then folks split up and celebrate however they see fit. unfortunately it often rains that evening- this photo is from a couple of years ago
