Because, after all, the sublime creator of 'Moby Dick' was not lacking an iota of reason, when he stated that it is better to fail, being original, than to be a winner in imitation. Suun cuique.
En ocasiones, es bueno dejarse llevar por la ensoñación -lejos, por supuesto, de las complicadas operaciones chamánicas de Carlos Castaneda- y en un acto reflejo de pura fantasía, darle la vuelta a los grandes poemas épicos de la Antigüedad, variando el género y el protagonismo de los mismos, siempre desde un punto de vista apolítico.
En ese sentido, podríamos ver, en estas esforzadas traineras, no unas esforzadas deportistas ejercitándose en las pacíficas aguas de un estanque una hermosa mañana de domingo, sino unas curtidas marineras, emulando a la tripulación del héroe griego, Ulises, mientras escapan, a fuerza de músculo y remo, aun con los vientos en contra, del palacio de la terrible hechicera Circe y su mundo de ilusión, donde nunca es nada lo que parece o se pretende hacer parecer a los demás.
Porque, al fin y al cabo, no le faltaba ni un ápice de razón al sublime creador de ‘Moby Dick’, cuando afirmó que vale más fracasar, siendo original, que ser un triunfador en la imitación. Suun cuique.
