Voice.
We swim in a blockchain that depends directly on our voice. And our participation matters. Every single one of us. Even if you don't think so. I've written about this once before, but I'll keep repeating it, even though it's strictly my point. Everyone is free to cast their vote as they see fit. This is decentralization. It's just worth remembering that every decision is followed by a certain amount of feedback. From the blockchain, from the users. Even from the world, if you will.
We are more connected than it seems.
Everything is so intertwined that sooner or later these connections will show up. Hive is no exception. Hive is a vivid confirmation of this. Some recent events with GLX and the guys who seem to be floating around in a vacuum confirm this.
You know what frustrates me so far here?
When I see people delegating 90% of their HP to anyone to get 5, 10, 15, 20% more than from their own curation. On paper, they are dolphins, but in reality they are redfish at best.
Okay, if the big idea behind it is to get their power back when it's enough. Which is also doubtful. If you're thinking about the extra percentage for yourself, I doubt you're thinking about those around you. More than five seconds a day.
It's a social blockchain. We're growing together.
Yes, it's very frustrating for me, but you may have different thoughts on this. I'd love to hear from you in the comments.
Do you delegate 90% of your HP?
I will continue.
There are several parameters by which I measure commitment to Hive. Which is what my attention to the person here depends on. This is what I do when I get to know someone.
- How long the person has been in Hive.
- How often he posts and what he posts.
- How much HP he has in his time on the blockchain and how much delegated HP.
- Communication under his posts.
The first 2 points give me an idea of commitment to Hive. And the second 2 points about the attitude towards the rest of the participants.
I don't know if this needs to be explained, but if you give up 90% of your vote for bigger drops, what do the rest of this community get?
It's a false presence.
It's a ghost rider.
It's a photo in which you are a blur.
To make an analogy to life, you've just given all your resources to another person who will decide everything for you for a certain fee.
Is it harsh? But that's what it looks like.
In this delegation equation, many people don't consider the human element. People are very sensitive about relationships. I would say that they feel those moments that at first glance are hidden. Yes, you can't see them sometimes, but you can't deceive your feelings...
Remember this. Peace!
Primary Goal
My primary goal is 100,000 HP. But I decided to track it in 10,000 HP increments, so that's the number I want to see by the end of 2023.
This week, my HP went up 35 HP from 1726 to 1761. I delegate 30% of them. I chose this percentage to stay as involved in the community as possible and still give myself a small boost to growth.
Secondary Goal
Secondary goal is 7,000 AP. For this week, my AP went up 135 ALIVE from 5744 to 5878 AP. The completion rate at this point is 84%. Only 500 AP I have delegated to LOLZ to keep myself on the LOLZ table for daily drops. All the rest of the power I like to distribute myself. After all, this is my favorite We Are Alive Tribe!

Starting to saving is easy, setting goals and following them is fun. At the end of the road, there is a prize waiting for us, which we will choose for ourselves. And it's not even about the money. It's about what you do next. Who you help and who you make happier.
That's all for today. See you next week!
