Hey Savers!

Welcome to my savers report. Today is my 15th week of savings. And before we get started, I want to talk about experimentation. In a way, this will also be a free-form experiment. Just my thoughts on what I've seen, heard, or felt.

Day after day, we do the same things. There's no getting away from it, by and large. It's often even great if we're talking about good habits or savings. Other times, we just sleep. We sleep on the go, we sleep sitting down, we sleep reading this post. We do the same actions without thinking about why we're even doing them. Maybe it's not worth doing anymore, or we could do it differently. But we sleep.

Did you ever notice that?

I notice this about me all the time. I see it often around me as well. When it happens many times during the day, I am reminded of zombie movies. Crowds of moving bodies, but not essentially alive...

As you may have guessed, it helps me to experiment. Any kind. When the pattern is broken, amazing things happen. When the outcome is unknown, there are no expectations about it. It's never possible to guess what the next experiment will turn out to be, but it's rare to get bored...

The field for experimentation is enormous. All the best discoveries in life and in every day have been made precisely after another experiment. The same is true of Hive. All my Hive insights have been after the words, "what happens if..."

That's how more than 20 tokens showed up on my savings list. And just as many off the list, but will be there sooner or later. That's how I met most of the wonderful people here. That's how the first posts were written that I wasn't the only one who liked. In fact, even in Hive I got in the same way...

Imagine how many opportunities we miss every day when we forget to experiment?

As always, I'll finish my thoughts at the end of this post, but for now I'll move on to my numbers game.⬇️

Primary Goal

My primary goal is 100,000 HP. But I decided to track it in 10,000 HP increments, so that's the number I want to see by the end of 2023.

This week, my HP went up 31 HP from 1248 to 1270. I have finally recovered, and I am gaining momentum again. And of course I'm experimenting every day. Sooner or later it will give me a blast, I'm sure!

Secondary Goal

Secondary goal is 7,000 AP. For this week, my AP went up 148 ALIVE from 4266 to 4414 AP. My goal of 100 AP is once again met, and I'm still going for 200 AP in a week. Here, too, I need new mechanisms, because I already feel the ceiling. It is necessary to break through it!

The overall percentage on all my targets went up 1.07% from 25.92% to 26.99%. I'm still aiming for 2% per week. I think the snowball is already gaining momentum. I just need a couple of fresh experiments to push it along.

Conclusion

Remembering myself as a child, I was always experimenting. It was always about trying something unfamiliar, learning something new. From running on rooftops, to watching butterflies. Heck, I was even playing their girly games with the girls and weaving wreaths. 😅

Fear was almost non-existent as a child. The only thing that was scary was spending another day bored. But there is plenty of fear now. Although, it makes more sense to have it the other way around.

How do we lose that on the way to adulthood?

I don't know, but we definitely have to get it back. All discoveries were made by accident or after 1,000 experiments. All the amazing things came about in a way that went against the normal course of things. In the end, any crazy idea can become the next iPhone or Tesla. All you have to do is let it happen!

Remember this! Peace!

Starting to saving is easy, setting goals and following them is fun. At the end of the road, there is a prize waiting for us, which we will choose for ourselves. And it's not even about the money. It's about what you do next. Who you help and who you make happier.

That's all for today. See you next week!
