Today is my 12th week of savings. And before we get started, I want to talk about moving forward and trying to be better. Every day.
Every day we see hundreds of people around us. In real life and here on Hive. Involuntarily, we try to compare ourselves to them. Not the most pleasant thing to do, in my opinion. I mean, it's hard not to get discouraged when you see cents per 1,000 words under your posts and tens of dollars per 300 words under someone else's. But there are a couple of points.
First, no one knows everyone's journey. Only we ourselves know what our accomplishments cost us, or how many downfalls we had along the way before we got here. Maybe if we knew how one or the other got his achievements, we wouldn't want to swap places. So I suggest we don't. The most important person in your life is yourself. Talking about the other person's life takes you away from your own life. And the more we do it, the further away we are from ourselves...
Secondly, nobody knows what's going to happen tomorrow. Maybe we'll get our lucky ticket tomorrow. Maybe it's already in our hands, we just can't see it because we're looking in the wrong place and busy doing the wrong thing. You can't be better than everyone else on this planet. There will always be someone better in some measure. But you can be yourself.
You don't have to try to be better than someone right now. It's enough to be better than yourself yesterday. Just a little better than you were yesterday. 365 days and you're better by 365 points a year. That can't help but be inspiring. No?
Primary Goal
My primary goal is 100,000 HP. But I decided to track it in 10,000 HP increments, so that's the number I want to see by the end of 2023.
This week, my HP went up 35 HP from 1153 to 1188. I definitely set myself an impossible goal for next year, but it doesn't matter. It inspires me, and that's the most important thing. No doubts, no fear. I'm just going to go for it, smiling every day!
Secondary Goal
Secondary goal is 7,000 AP. For this week, my AP went up 126 ALIVE from 3868 to 3994 AP. My goal of 100 AP is once again met, and I'm still going for 200 AP in a week.

The overall percentage on all my targets went up 0.41% from 24.27% to 24.68%. I'm still aiming for 2% per week, но всё в порядке. This is my first experience setting goals for the year. I'm curious to see how I will work with it!
I am better today than I was yesterday. And it's not just about savings. After all, this is my 12th savings report. It's a consistency I haven't had before. I love it and will continue to do so! I'm also learning a new token or a new mechanism that works in Hive. Every day. It will definitely pay off next year.
Now I remember what I was like a year ago. God, it was a very different person. In every way. If I keep this pace next year, I have some great prizes waiting for me at the finish line. And again, not just in numbers. I will wish myself new places, new wonderful acquaintances, new experiences and new little victories every day.
I also want to wish everyone happiness, peace, warmth and goodness in the new year!

Starting to saving is easy, setting goals and following them is fun. At the end of the road, there is a prize waiting for us, which we will choose for ourselves. And it's not even about the money. It's about what you do next. Who you help and who you make happier.
