I wrote the 'official' announcement on @clicktrackprofit blog earlier today, but thought I should go over a few of our reasons 'why' when it came to adding delegation to the CTP Token this week!
That post I made on Tuesday really cemented a few beliefs that I already had:
One - The HIVE community can benefit BIG TIME from community members feeling....Wanted. Appreciated. And valued! Reading the comments, I can tell...People would love to see something like this come to fruition...
Two - Tapping into the DHF was going to be a problem. Not only generating the required votes needed, but working with the 'decentralization' of how the voting would work. What a headache to even begin to look at...And with my limited knowledge of all the intricacies of how Hive and it's rewards curve works...It was clear, we needed another option.
Three - Did I mention...Community? Yes, it's the life blood of this blockchain. In my opinion no other chain even comes close to it...
And then I start watching a post that They Call Me Dan did and he mentioned...
The future is in the second layer!
This just 'clicked' for me...
It made total sense, because when I think back, the reason I fell in love with this blockchain, read it's white papers from front to back and brought my businesses to it was....The idea of the 'SMT'.
Not to beat a dead horse here, but I think this was the biggest attraction to all entrepreneurs when they discovered the potential and promise of this blockchain.
Welp, we know how that went....

With tribes...We could realize the potential of SMT's and bring our communities to the blockchain and reward them in our own tokens...
So....The eureka moment happened for @blainjones and I this week!
We decided to focus 'that little idea' of ours directly at home base - The CTP Tribe!
So we did some things, which I went over in detail in today's post @clicktrackprofit But just to recap quickly:
We added the ability to delegate your CTP Tokens to projects and community members that you choose to!
We created a team of curators / engagement champions for the tribe, called them the 'Swarm Squad' and delegated them each 25,000 CTP Tokens.
Continued the support of the @ctpsb project with delegation of both CTP Tokens as well as Hive Power too!
A.K.A. We're going to focus on supporting our amazing members of our tribe!
We want them to know how much they are appreciated! How much we value their contributions to this tribe! And do everything in our power to make their time here as rewarding as possible.
With more plans to build and add to the tribe, we're VERY excited for the future of this blockchain and this remarkable community of entrepreneurs on CTPtalk.com
