Probablemente el título de este post no te parezca ningún misterio, a pesar de que es cada vez más opcional conocer idiomas gracias a los múltiples servicios incluso gratuitos que nos brindan traducciones cada vez más fidedignas. Pero cuando hablamos del terreno del desarrollo personal es muy importante y quise hacer un post para explicarte por qué. ## El problema Para nadie es un misterio y poco vale negarlo: La mayoría de los países de habla hispana son consumidores de conocimiento y casi no productores. Con esto quiero decir que las investigaciones científicas de auge en su gran mayoría, provienen de fuente inglesa o han sido rápidamente y principalmente traducidas al inglés, por lo que entonces tenemos que esperar a que alguien lo traduzca a nosotros al español antes de acceder a ello. Eso podría significar años de espera por la información valiosa que tal vez hoy te pueda ahorrar un dolor de cabeza. Encima, la jerga científica es algo difícil de traducir incluso con las herramientas de hoy y la cantidad de horrores ortográficos podría desanimar incluso al buscador más comprometido o de plano, malentender toda la información por el modo en que ha sido interpretada. ## Desinformados En el mundo en que vivimos, cuando los países del primer mundo hacen una cosa, los demás tienden a reproducirlo después, a veces ciegamente. Pero lo que nos importa es que si nos limitamos solamente a nuestra comprensión del español estamos limitados a que alguien más nos lo diga de la forma en que a ellos les convenga. ¡Eso es un gran problema! El título de un artículo podría decirte:"Respirar da cancer". Sin embargo, en la mayoría de los estudios científicos sobre cualquier cosa, muy pocas conclusiones son un 100% verídicas, por lo que si hay siquiera la más mínima posibilidad de que algo de cancer, incluso un 1%, muchos investigadores tienden a terminar los estudios con la palabra "podría". Pero eso no es tan sensual para un medio que necesita clicks que la afirmación rotunda de un hecho:"Respirar da cancer de acuerdo a estudio". Desde luego, muchas veces nos basta con que coloquen en la fuente un link cualquiera hacia la investigación. Si llegamos a profundizar en ella casi siempre nos daremos cuenta que está inglés y hasta allí llega el asunto. Y de hecho una buena parte de mi crecimiento personal se lo debo a que expertos, como psiquiatras, psicólogos, filósofos e incluso amalgamas interesantísimas como Psiquiatras/monjes o nutriólogos/biólogos, tienen canales donde explican para personas no académicas avances científicos de punta. Entre ellos (Y esto no lo digo porque me hayan dando un centavo) puedo recomendar a [HealthyGamerGG](https://www.youtube.com/@HealthyGamerGG) y a [Actualized.org](https://www.youtube.com/@ActualizedOrg). El primero es un psiquiatra certificado de Harvard que entrenó como monje en un Ashram. Y el segundo se trata de un filósofo que busca encontrar el mecanismo profundo de la mente humana y de la forma como interpreta la realidad a través de la ciencia, la psicología, la biología y el misticismo. También hay mucha variedad de doctores y recuerda, lo que los jóvenes de hoy están estudiando en la escuela de medicina es lo que alguien decidió traducir de otros textos. Simplemente no va a ser lo mismo. ## Conclusiones La mayoría de los Hivers utilizamos traductores para que sea accesible a la mayoría de las personas. Personalmente uso uno, pero después releo el resultado porque he notado que hay veces que salen absolutas barbaridades como a veces no tanto. Esa curación personal de tu traductor podría ser también la diferencia para que una persona ajena al español lea tu contenido. ¡Infinidad de beneficios promete y también hay programas gratuitos para hacerlo! However, in most scientific studies on anything, very few conclusions are 100% true, so if there is even the slightest chance of some cancer, even 1%, many researchers tend to end the studies. with the word "could." But that is not as sensual for a medium that needs clicks than the outright statement of a fact: "Breathing causes cancer according to study." Of course, many times it is enough for us to place any link to the research in the source. If we go deeper into it we will almost always realize that it is English and that is where the matter ends. Personally, I think Duolingo is a very nice and simple learning system that could get you started, although I would say that we are all started in something thanks to the games, series or movies that have accompanied us throughout our lives, so maybe It may be quite enjoyable for you.
