SPECIFIC DESIGN FOR MONTH THEME.png

WOMEN'S HEALTH

Women's health is a critical topic, given that women face specific health challenges throughout their lives. According to the World Health Organization, women's health encompasses a wide range of issues, including reproductive health, maternal health, mental health and non-communicable diseases such as cancer and heart disease.ยน

Research has shown that investing in women's health leads to positive outcomes, not only for women but also for their families and communities.ยฒ For instance, improving access to reproductive healthcare can reduce maternal mortality rates while addressing non-communicable diseases can improve quality of life and increase productivity.

When it comes to mental health, research has also shown that depression, anxiety, and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) are more prevalent in women than men ยณ and these conditions can have a significant impact on women's quality of life.

With this being said, the MED-HIVE community thought it an important subject to discuss and more importantly, a topic to raise awareness about.

Therefore, it's now officially the beginning of the month's theme!

And we have the Golden honour of inviting all members of the Ladies of Hive community @ladiesofhive #LOH to join in this, sharing their experiences and enlightening the general public in every way about this month's theme.
