Flower grass in the field with nature blurry background

This flower blooms from the tridax procumbens or coatbuttons or tridax daisy plants. In our place, it is very easy to find these plants, mostly found growing wild as weeds. The leaves of this plant have health benefits, I will quote from scientific research, although I do not clearly highlight the leaves in the photo.

I did a search on Google Scholar with the keyword 'tridax procumbens medicinal uses', and I came across several scientific articles discussing the benefits of tridax procumbens useful in treating diabetes.

Here I will quote the conclusion from the scientific article 'Evaluation of hypoglycemic and anti-hyperglycemic potential of Tridax procumbens (Linn.)':

Conclusion
From the present study, it is concluded that Tridax procumbens may be useful in treating diabetes mellitus with no visible signs or symptoms of toxicity in normal rats indicating a high margin of safety. The 50% methanolic extracts of Tridax procumbens have indicated high level of anti-diabetic activity. The extracts exhibited anti-hyperglycemic activity comparable to that of a standard anti-diabetic drug, glibenclamide.
