Hive Stock Images: Figs

Who doesn't like figs?
Well I can name one or two but .. not myself!

Figs can have many health benefits. They are consumed fresh when in season from late summer to early autumn or dried, or in jams. I prefer to eat them fresh to be honest :)

Their peel is light green or light purple. The ones near my home are mostly green...

Sometimes when they are ripe enough and nobody cuts them, the little insects will consume them. This little fella left the scene when I was photographing - but I spotted him eating the fig!

This is the leaf of the fig tree.

As I am reading in wikipedia

Nine subfossil figs of a parthenocarpic (and therefore self-pollinating) type dating to about 9400–9200 BC were found in the early Neolithic village Gilgal I (in the Jordan Valley, 13 km north of Jericho). The find precedes the domestication of wheat, barley, and legumes, and may thus be the first known instance of agriculture. It is proposed that this sterile but desirable type was planted and cultivated intentionally, one thousand years before the next crops were domesticated (wheat and rye).[15]

All the above images can be used for hive posts (using any front-end, dApp) but with the prerequisite that you mention me as their creator.

In case they will be useful, I have also created a clipart with figs which you may use too.
