Hello there Hivers! _ it's really good to see you guys again on Hive Stock Images Community...

As the intro, first of all let me tell you that one of the commodities in the community where I live is a rubber producer. the local people plant a lot of rubber trees in their gardens and go to extract the sap from the rubber trees every day to sell.

Therefore on this occasion, I would like to share to you guys some of my stock images about Tap Rubber that I took when I went to local people's rubber plantation in West Borneo yesterday.

Rubber trees that are ready to be used (tapped) are those that are at least 5 years old, this is the prime age for a rubber tree to produce sap with the best quantity and quality.

The tap rubber process is carried out by slicing the edge of the rubber tree bark in a circle so that the sap that comes out can flow through the slice line.

At the end of the bark that has been sliced (tapped), rubber farmers usually plug dry leaves that function as faucets that drain rubber sap into storage containers.

While the storage container is placed right under the dry leaf faucet that I described earlier. So that every drop of rubber sap that falls will be collected in the container, and will be taken by the farmers every day.

For extra information, after the rubber tree is tapped for its sap for the first time, it will continue to be used for the next 25 to 35 years. _ Because of the age and long production period that makes the surrounding community happy to plant this rubber tree
