MAMMILLARIA PROLIFERA. A plant that will prevail in time.

Mammillaries belong to one of the largest genera of cacti on the planet, their beauty is highly prized by collectors, the mammillaria proliferates with its flowers and fruits attest to its name since it is a plant that reproduces in quantities of one or the other. Mammillarias occupy a privileged place among cacti, their seeds are spread in nature by multiple animals from insects, birds, mammals that feed on their fruits, it is distributed from Mexico and several Caribbean islands, the genus itself covers a immense territory, the majority being native to Mexico, the southwestern United States, the Caribbean, Colombia, Venezuela, Guatemala, Honduras, Argentina and Brazil.
