Una vez me senté en este árbol, estaba fumando junto a unos amigos de la universidad, por curiosidad me subí a él y vi una especie de trono natural, tal vez no era un trono, tal vez esa una simple formación de la naturaleza que te invita a sentarte junto a ella.
Later, when I got involved with the Nosotros Tik project, the first thing I did was think about this tree, so without thinking about it, I approached its enclosure, which is in the Museums of Fine Arts in Caracas, and proposed to the Interpreter and creator of this project. Heysell Leal interpret in this space, as she moved while recording the video I was able to enter the imaginary of Alice in Wonderland, a different Alice, an Alice more towards the tropics, a Venezuelan Alice, an Alice with indigenous mix European and African, an Alicia who comes from La Vega parish.
Posteriormente cuando me involucre con el proyecto de Nosotros Tik lo primero que hice fue pensar en este árbol, así que sin pensarlo me acerque a su recinto que es en los Museos de Bellas Artes de Caracas y le propuse a la Intérprete y creadora de este proyecto Heysell Leal interpretar en este espacio, a medida que se movía mientras grababa el video pude entrar en el imaginario de Alicia en el País de las maravillas, una Alicia diferente, una Alicia más hacia el trópico, una Alicia Venezolana, una Alicia con mezcla indígenas europeas y africana, una Alicia que proviene de la parroquia La Vega.
One day at Teresa Carreño Heysell Leal approached me to request my support for the realization of this project, in later moments we sat in a cafe and he commented on the definition of his project.

What is TIK? 'TIK' It is a digital platform for the development of corporeal creations taking as a stage the field of social networks, enabling connections between the creator-performer-dancer, and his digital and varied public, allowing a look for reciprocity as well the link between their artistic media, leaving as a result a mass of creative information doomed to artistic development.

¿Qué es TIK? ‘TIK’ Es una plataforma digital para el desarrollo de creaciones corpóreas teniendo como escenario el campo de las redes sociales, posibilitando las conexiones entre el creadorintérprete-bailarín, y su público digital y variado, dejando que se instaure una mirada para la reciprocidad como también el vinculo entre sus medios artísticos, dejando como resultado una masa de información creativa abocada al desarrollo artístico.

This seemed very good to me, a great proposal, I liked it, however I was not sure I would support it, after talking with a friend about the subject, the one who knew her the best I was encouraged to enter the project, so I ventured into development of this interesting proposal. When I saw Heysell again I asked her where she got Tik's name from, she clarified with her answer.
Esto me pareció muy bueno, una propuesta genial, me gustó, sin embargo no estaba seguro de apoyarla, luego de conversar con un amigo sobre el tema, él que la conocía más me Impulso a entrar en el proyecto, así que me aventure al desarrollo de está interesante propuesta. Cuando me volví a ver con Heysell le pregunté de donde saco el nombre de Tik, ella me aclaro con su respuesta.
What is TIK? TIK, sustraída su esencia del texto por Eduardo Galeano ‘Bocas del Tiempo’ en uno de sus relatos llamado –Tik- partiendo de una anécdota del antropólogo Carlos Lenkersdorf, nos habla de su encuentro con la cultura maya de los Altos de Chiapas específicamente la cultura de los Tzeltales le asignan gran dominio al Tik está con su gran sentido mismo, se refiere en sí al –Nosotros-, teniendo un alto entendimiento del colectivo y lo que esto quiere decir al entorno y para ellos mismo.

I spend some time in meetings where we manage to agree how to transmit the information to the interpreters through the networks, we select the precise, simple and useful information so that the interpreter could record his shots with his own camera, so together we developed a text where we explained how to make a video for Nosotros Tik.
Paso un tiempo de reuniones donde logramos acordar como trasmitir la información a los interpretes por medio de las redes, seleccionamos la información precisa sencilla y útil para que el intérprete pudiera grabar su tomas con su propia cámara, así que juntos desarrollamos un texto donde explicamos la forma de como hacer un vídeo para Nosotros Tik.
