Hello friends who are always loyal to this community. How are you guys? Hope all is well and running smoothly. On this occasion I would like to share photos of the beauty of the sea from the coast, estuaries and rivers. This natural beauty makes me feel very comfortable and enjoy it, so I try to capture this beautiful moment with my smartphone, to be remembered one day.
The coast is a transition area between land and sea which is a meeting area between land and sea; landward includes parts of the land, both dry and submerged in water, which are still influenced by the characteristics of the sea such as tides, sea breeze, and salt water seepage; while towards the sea includes parts of the sea that are still influenced by natural processes that occur on land such as sedimentation and fresh water flow, as well as those caused by human activities on land such as deforestation and pollution.
The river is a place where water flows by gravity to a lower place. The direction of the river flow is in accordance with the nature of the water from a high place to a low place. Rivers originate from mountains or highlands to lakes or oceans.
A river mouth, or simply an estuary is an area of a body of water where one or more rivers enter a sea, ocean, lake, dam, or even a larger river. In coastal areas, river mouths are greatly affected by land water conditions such as fresh water and sediment flows, as well as ocean water such as tides, waves, and the inflow of salt water onto land. Depending on the location and environmental conditions, estuaries can contain many ecological niches within a small area, and thus are associated with high biodiversity. The mouths of large rivers can form estuaries as well as deltas.
