We wanted to stay in Bingen am Rhein! Unfortunately, or maybe thank goodness, the parking space in Bingen was full and so we ended up about 5 km further on Metzi's Panoramablick motorhome parking space, a beautiful, quiet parking space in Ockenheim in the middle of the vineyards!
A really nice parking space with spacious plots, electricity, supply and disposal available, for people who need it, there is a relatively new shower, but no toilet! Price € 8 / N, electricity € 3 / N, fresh water € 0.50 / 50 liters. There is also a bread roll service, according to the notice there seems to be a lunch dish from Monday to Friday, but we didn't notice because we didn't get there until Friday evening!
You can walk to town in no time, just 1 km away there is also a Rewe market with a drinks market that is open Monday to Saturday until 10 p.m.
Good starting point for hiking and cycling, and a paradise for geocachers 😀! In any case, we enjoyed it very much 👍!
