Kürzlich war ich mit meinem Wohnmobil in Bayern unterwegs und habe zwei Tage in Landshut verbracht. Der Stellplatz direkt an der Isar und in der Nähe des Stadtzentrums war der perfekte Ausgangspunkt, um diese historische und kulturell reiche Stadt zu erkunden.
I was recently traveling in Bavaria with my motorhome and spent two days in Landshut. The pitch directly on the Isar and close to the city center was the perfect starting point for exploring this historic and culturally rich city.

Es wird alle vier Jahre mit einem aufwendigen Reenactment gefeiert und bietet ein authentisches Erlebnis des Mittelalters, das zahlreiche Besucher aus der ganzen Welt anzieht. Vom 25. Juni bis 18. Juli 2027 finden die nächsten Aufführungen statt!

Was die Gastronomie betrifft, so bietet Landshut eine große Auswahl an traditionellen bayerischen Gaststätten und Biergärten, in denen lokale Spezialitäten und Biere serviert werden.
The proximity to the Isar offers numerous leisure activities such as hiking, cycling and water sports. There are also many parks and green spaces in the city. As far as gastronomy is concerned, Landshut offers a wide selection of traditional Bavarian restaurants and beer gardens serving local specialties and beers.
Mein Fazit:
Mein Aufenthalt in Landshut, der eher zufällig zustande kam, war fantastisch. Die Kombination aus historischer Architektur, lebendiger Kultur und zahlreichen Outdoor-Freizeitmöglichkeiten macht Landshut zu einem perfekten Ort, um zu reisen und zu leben. Ich kann es kaum erwarten, wieder nach Landshut zu kommen. Dann werde ich noch mehr von dieser schönen Stadt entdecken!

My stay in Landshut, which came about rather by chance, was fantastic. The combination of historic architecture, vibrant culture and numerous outdoor recreational opportunities makes Landshut a perfect place to travel and live. I can hardly wait to come back to Landshut. Then I will discover even more of this beautiful city!

The old town can be reached on foot in approx. 10 minutes. Cycling and hiking trails are signposted.
