Guru Nanak Jayanti is one of the main festivals of of the people who belong to Sikh community. Guru Nanak Jayanti took so much importance in the Sikh community because he is a founder and stabilizer of of sikhism and also he belongs to the first ten Sikh gurus and he was born in 1469. Guru Nanak is so much curious and attracted towards spirituality ,religion ,humanity ,GoodNess, devotion his childhood
Now take a look on the facts which make this festival more important for each and everyone doesn't matter either he or she is from Sikh community or not
- In each and every part of the country the mode of celebration of Guru Nanak Jayanti is little bit different but the most common process of celebration is that a procession which is called Nagar Kirtan is happen in which there were five peoples involved in it and it is organised one day before Guru Nanak Jayanti in this ritual 5 people lead a procession where they hold a planqueen in which they have a holy book and Guru Granth Sahib
- The devotees visit to to Nanak Sahib place which is name as Gurudwara. In early morning letter on the Akhand Path which is a non stop reading of Guru Granth Sahib is held for approx 48 hours in gurudwara during the occasion of Guru Nanak Jayanti
- after completing the whole process of worship devotees and the people of Sikh community prepare a langur which contain the famous community mean and believe me that is the most delicious food which you can never eat in your life because it do not contain the the taste of spices and other thing it contain the the taste of Prasad and blessings which we were getting from the God Nanak Sahib
- The festival of Guru Nanak Jayanti is for honouring and remembering Guru Nanak Dev for his teachings and for celebrating his legacy
- The teachings Of Guru Nanak Dev is very well followed by the people of Sikh community he believes that an individual could connect to God through his prayer and he never encourage tradition that include sacrifices all his teachings and preachings are available in a book which named as Guru Granth Sahib and it is a holy book he writes a very beautiful line in his Guru Granth and is that the creator of universe was one it also means that he didn't believe in in the cast and other things he believes that the god is one who created the whole universe and that is a truth which we all should have to accept
In the above portion of my blog I describe about the importance of Guru Nanak Jayanti and also that why we celebrate Guru Nanak Jayanti now I would like to describe how I celebrated this precious day of Guru Nanak Jayanti
I went to to Gurudwara with my two childhood friends at approx 12 p.m. according to Indian time there we have found that a lot of rush presented in the Gurudwara for the worshipping of Guru Nanak Dev and also for getting the the Langer which contain a devotional power and blessings of Guru Nanak Dev all the pictures presented in this blog is captured by me so you can see in the starting pictures that how much crowd is presented in the Gurudwara
This is the interior view of Gurudwara and you can see that it is very well decorated by the caretaker of Gurudwara and mainly they were the people of Sikh community. When I visited to Gurdwara I I found some of my friends who belongs to Sikh community they welcome us with a very polite heart give us turbans to tie upon overhead before entering The Gurudwara because it believes that we will not have to enter in gurudwara with naked head
The halva which we were getting in the Gurudwara as Prasad is very much delicious in taste there is no one who can be able to to make halwa outside the Gurdwara which is similar to the taste which we were getting in the Prasad from gurudwara and i think that there is a reason behind it and is that the dovotees first offer that halva to the God and after that they will offer that food among the devotees
Here I captured a close shot of Jhumar which is presented on the the roof of the Gurdwara and it is looking very much pretty because of the light reflection from the jhumar looks amazing through naked eyes
Here we finally get the Prasad of Guru Nanak Jayanti and this Prasad is not only a normal meal because it contains some devotional powers the blessings of Guru Nanak Dev and also the love of the people twoward Guru Nanak Dev
Sikh community is one of the most lovable community which were presented in India because they were always ready to help each and everyone most of the Good Works is is done by the Sikh community people you can ask about this to anyone who were a citizen of India
As you can see that many of the peoples sitting in the row to get the Prasad of Gurudwara everyone is free to come to Gurdwara and get the Prasad there is not any boundary for anyone either he belongs to any caste any culture and religion they were welcomed in gurudwara for eating the Prasad
Here is the picture of my two friends with whom I went to to Gurdwara today the boy who is in the back side his name is Vishal Maurya and the boy who is in the front side his name is Rajesh Kumar shakya they were cleaning the plates in which they get the Prasad and I know them from 8th standard if we talking in years then they were known to me from past 12 years
