Hi hi.. I am @luueetang. I am going to bring you to a beautiful trail here in Brunei. I am currently in Brunei. The trail I am going is on Perumpong hill. The best time to come here is during 4 to 5pm. The weather is the coolest. You will also see a lot of mountain bikers here on their mountain bikes.
The stunning view
I took this photo at around 5:30 PM in the afternoon. The sun is about to set. It rained for a while and the clouds were quite dark. The best time to shoot photos. The natural lighting that beams onto the forest is simply stunning. Orange golden light.
The path up leads to the hills. There is a huge network of trails.
Plants surround hikers up this trail. Amazing , isn't it? Green all year round.
These go deep into the forest
These trails are easy to hike as all of them have shortcuts that lead outwards to the main road if you do feel tired and want to relax at any time. It is not advised to hike in the hills till dark. There are hikers who have not been able to climb out for days stuck inside and they usually feel that they've been walking in circles.
Electrical pylons
Miles upon miles of electrical cables run across the mountains. They are landmarks to watch out to know where your at in the hills.
Up clay roads
Hard clay forms the bottom part of the trail. They have steps carved into it. Made by hikers who hike here everyday. It's great to smell the fresh air and get some outdoor activity once in a while .
As the sun is about to set. Somehow the sun turns golden orange.
Such an amazing view. Brunei is covered with 70% forest so there's a lot of hiking trails around the country.
Peluru / Bullet hill
Reached Peluru hill somewhere deep inside after more than half and hour of climb.
The most slippery paths
Descending trails especially after the rain. Just be careful and don't wear flip flops or sports shoes. Hiking shoes are preferred. Those with high frictional force.

There are lots of bird noises that can be heard as we walk around as well as leaves rustling in the background. Enjoyable to listen to.
The city
At the far end of this picture, you'll see the city beneath. These electrical lines run directly towards the city.
Beautiful view while walking
Lots of grass. In the horizon, the different shades of colour of the sky.
The best view
It's great to enjoy the view of the sun set.
Finally out and at the parking.
After an hour and the half, we finally came out. Do you like hiking? If you do, this is one of the best place to hike.
