A walk through the garden, and always very close to the beauty ...
Had a gardener nightmare, 😂 I woke up and everything was white, all the blossoms, cherries, apples dead, totally frozen ... horrible. Fortunately, I really woke up and it's a wonderful warm morning.
Flowers always have a right to exist in gardens. Even now it is still early enough to dig up and divide some perennials. This works now wonderful with tall herbaceous phlox, asters, the yellow coneflower, daylilies and other magnificent perennials. Even perennials that cover the ground such as cranesbills, Waldsteinia, etc. can now be divided well and any gaps can be filled in. A closed floor area covered with plants is easier to care for and better than "bare" floor.
