Amo mi infancia, estuvo plena de inocencia y eso me encanta, porque ahora sé que fue sana y feliz, llena de cuentos que de seguro la hicieron mucho más interesante.
Mi niñez transcurrió en los años 80, vivimos en casa, ubicada en un pequeño pueblo, teníamos un pequeño televisor a color, el cuál era supervisado por mis padres, agradezco esa responsabilidad ante este tema.
Era una época de mucho respeto social y tabúes, sobre todo cuando se trataba de hablar de sexualidad o sexo, eran temas que ni en la escuela explicaban con la mayor claridad, así que ya es de suponer que por ser niñas, no nos permitian hablar del tema y mucho menos ver programación donde hubieran escenas subidas de tono, que era raro ver en alguna novela, más que un beso apasionado.
Ahora bien tenía unos 9 años, cuando mi mamá salió embarazada de mi última hermana Karen, de repente note su barriga crecer y de pronto teníamos la noticia de que la cigüeña traería una hermanita, vaya que sorpresa.
La verdad, mi madre dormía con nosotras en la habitación, los gestos de afecto entre papá y mamá no eran públicos, así que era difícil imaginar que ambos, tenían intimidad y que de esas relaciones amorosas, salían las bebés.
Aunque estaba feliz con la noticia, estuve días pensando como un animal tan frágil podría traer en un pañal a mi hermanita, volando por el aire y que pasaría, si se le caía?, estaba muy preocupada.
Cuando nos dijeron que mamá iba al hospital a buscar a mí hermana, pensé que hay estaría la cigüeña esperando con la bebé envuelta en un pañal, tal cuál las caricaturas.
La cigüeña cumplió con su entrega en el hospital, al final yo nunca la ví, pero igual seguro estaba muy feliz.

I love my childhood, it was full of innocence and I love that, because now I know it was healthy and happy, full of stories that surely made it much more interesting.
My childhood took place in the 80's, we lived at home, located in a small town, we had a small color TV, which was supervised by my parents, I appreciate that responsibility to this issue.
It was a time of much social respect and taboos, especially when it came to talk about sexuality or sex, were topics that even in school were not explained with the greatest clarity, so it is to be expected that being girls, we were not allowed to talk about the subject and much less watch programming where there were scenes of high tone, it was rare to see in a novel, more than a passionate kiss.
Now I was about 9 years old, when my mom got pregnant with my last sister Karen, suddenly I noticed her belly grow and suddenly we had the news that the cigüeña would bring a little sister, what a surprise.
Truth be told, my mother slept with us in the room, the gestures of affection between mom and dad were not public, so it was hard to imagine that both of them were intimate and that from those loving relationships, babies were born.
Although I was happy with the news, I spent days thinking about how such a fragile animal could bring my baby sister in a diaper, flying through the air and what would happen if she dropped it, I was very worried.
When we were told that mom was going to the hospital to pick up my sister, I thought the stork would be there waiting with the baby wrapped in a diaper, just like in the cartoons.
The stork delivered the baby to the hospital, I never saw her at the end, but I was sure she was very happy.
