This is so important, and I think most people struggle with this part because of 3 things: 2 that you already mentioned

1)Denial of the problem
2)Information is a way to combat this problem

3)and shame.

The lack of information on how to manage our emotions means that people do not know what is happening to them, and then, the shame that still exists in accepting that they have an emotional or psychological problem makes people deny the problem or not want to seek help.
