QC Contest #47 |- Weighing Success and Failure

Failure - Why do you think some people fail and others succeed? Why do you think only a few people achieve their goals? Do you think there is some secret to success that people who fail don't know?

MY THOUGHT ON THE ABOVE TOPIC

Kudos to the QC admins for this wonderful topic for the week. There are so many factors behind some succeeding and others failing. Sometimes, not everyone knows the secrets to success, sometimes, some might know but don't utilize them. There are so many people who know these secrets, yet they keep failing.

The ladder of success is easy to attain for those who have crossed their hearts to reach the peak. That's where factors come in. A man who knows that getting to the peak of a mountain will make him successful might be too lazy to begin the necessary climbing of the mountain. He knows the secret to success but is too lazy to make a move.

Hard work and our attitude play a significant role in our success. With a positive mindset and hard work, one would be ready to face and overcome any obstacle to his success. While one with a negative mindset and is lazy would keep assuming the journey won't be an easy one instead of making a move.

Everybody's story of success does have to come together; it can take others just a short time or some years. There is a saying that goes, "There is no shortcut to saying." That's very true, but people who grab any opportunity they see have a greater chance of attaining the ladder of success than those who are always too scared of diving into opportunities. Fear is a barrier to success, and lots of people are caged by it.

In addition, there is no successful man with no setback stories to tell. Success comes with lots of setbacks; only those who stand strong and overcome these setbacks will smile at the end.

Also, one's circle of friends makes great contribution to one's success. Having friends with like-minded people can be a source of encouragement on one's journey to success.

In conclusion, failure is not a bad thing. Although it leaves one with disappointment, it's only a path for self-improvement, growth, and trying again. Understanding that to be successful, there must be failure will help one adjust and stand strong both physically and emotionally.
