My Choice favorite character is Merlin in a Movie titled Merlin. It is a legendary movie about magic and protection of a city.
Merlin was depicted in the movie as a sorcerer or magician. According to the stories, he was born of a human mother and a demon father. Merlin grew up in a small village called Earldor with his mother. He never really did any work all thanks to his magic. But he couldn't control his magic powers so his mother sent him to Gaius who lived in carmelot, so he could learn to control his magical powers. Gaius lived in the castle with the King and the king had banned the use of magic and ordered a death decree for anyone caught using magic. Marlins duty was to serve the Kings son Arthur.
He had to live a secret life. By day, he was a humble servant and by night he would focus and learn new magic. His interest was learning new tricks. This is one reason I like Merlin. Openness and curiosity to learning. Merlin would ask questions and visit many places in the search for answers. This made him stumble into a dragon which reveals some secrets about him. His curiosity further led him to uncovering many secrets and for the protection of others. His personality is also one thing that makes him my favorite. Merlin may not have shown himself to be physically strong or outspoken, but he is very smart and intelligent.
He was always at the right places at the right times. Although he finds himself severally in places he ordinarily ought not to be, but it turns out his presence there brings solution to the entire city. Most importantly, Merlin is a favorite character for being a problem solver. Almost at weekly intervals, the city always faced challenges. Merlin always came through by using his magic to solve the problem. It must require so much bravety to use what is being prohibited to save the same people who would execute you if found. Merlin always found a way to be useful.
Merlin is used to pass a great lesson across that though magic was an instrument of evil, it could still be put into good and positive usage for the benefit of the people and the city. Merlin is also a risk-taker too. We could see how Author used him during trainings with swords and arrows, and yet he didn't stop. Several times on mission, he would be exposed to serious risk and magic was his saving grace.
I think I share characteristics with Merlin except for the magic. Firstly I remember when I almost fell into a soak away system while trying to protect my younger sibling. I also remember jumping into the road to push someone, so he wouldn't get hit by a vehicle on an Express highway. Personal I think I possess the character of being selfless, smart and resilient towards ensuring stability. If I have the opportunity to become a character, I will chose Merlin and become very useful by providing solutions problems.
