Things I'm grateful for this year

I'm grateful for so many things this year. The singular reason that I'm alive is enough reason to be grateful. The year began with so many challenges and an illness that almost claimed my life but God's grace saved me. I had so many resolutions in the beginning of the year, but everything I've hoped for crumbled, and it became a year of survival rather than accomplishing goals. I found myself doing a lot of things I've sworn never to do. At one point I left home and traveled to a different state.

But in all the challenges, God's faithfulness remained. I saw his hands in so many areas. One of these areas was winning the women's world cup prediction on hive. I'm not a football fan, I don't watch football, but then God's mercy led me through to the winning point and this is one remarkable thing I'll remember about 2023. It seems God knew I needed that sum of money at that time and he made it happen.

God seems to answer my prayer speedily, sometimes I am forced to believe he waits eagerly to see me pray. Every one of my prayers has been answered even though it didn't come in the manner which I had expected. I'm so grateful each time I know I have a father who is almighty and powerful, backing me through my difficult moments. I am grateful for so many things, I'm grateful for life, I'm grateful for provision, I'm grateful for protection, I'm grateful for answered prayers, I'm grateful for how he had granted me sound health even with the junk that I eat, I'm grateful because he Loves me. My thankfulness isn't enough, but I'm grateful for what I am, because he made me, I'm grateful for what I have because he gave me, and everything I enjoy.

Finally, I'm grateful for the friends I have both online and offline, they've been the ones who have made the journey fun and easy. Friends are gifts and I'm grateful for each one of them including my dearest online friend Zuerich.
