To learn a new skills is always challenging. Why? Because is something you haven't done before. So, it needed a skill to be successful in suc a new career. I can remember first time i went to saloon shop to learn hair dressing. It wasn't an easy tasks because it requires lost of standing. You can stand for hours once the breading or fixing of hair is on going. Today, I was successful in my career which is hair braiding. So, to be successful in such a career, one needs to have the ability to stand. Or you can get yourself a long stool. But remember, it's all about standing mostly.
Learn how to eat well, and when you close work, have enough rest. Don't eat foods that will make you feel sleepy while at work. Remember, to become successful in life requires some sacrifices. Make sure you come to work early in other to see how all the hair that will be made that day waa divided. Monitor your master or hair mistress when she ia dividing the hair. Watch how she applies hair cream's or treatments. Ask questions on things that you don't understand. Be friendly to your mentor so that he or she will open up everything to you. Learn to be fast when you feel tired kindly inform your mentor and have some rest. Remember all works without rest can make you dull hahahaha.
Practice what you are learning often. You can use your fellow apprentice hair to practice it, your mom or sister's at home. Or your friends. Sometimes, you can ask them to get the needed materials that you will bread them free. With that, you are building your future customers and it will help you to master the work faster. Pray for God's wisdom to guide you. I deed that while i was undergoing training and God helped me to be successful. You can as well get yourself a dummy. Those with hair so that at your own lesiur time. You can practice hair braiding with it's hair.
For those going new to this skill. Don't panic, it might be difficult as of the time of starting. But once you are persistence, you will become successful in your career. Remember to ask questions and practice what you are learning. Pray for God to help you if you are still finding it difficult. Ask for help if necessary. At the end, you will become successfully in your career.
