This week's topic:
What if - What if you could invite 3 people to dinner (from any time, country, etc.), who would you invite? Why? And, what would you talk about?
To begin this topic let me list out the 3 people I could invite to dinner (from any time, country, etc.):
I will tilt towards the female folk in my selection as most of them have distinguished themselves in those areas of life. These include:
- Kamala Devi Harris
- Angela Dorothea Merkel
- Beyoncé Giselle Knowles-Carter.
Why should I choose to invite them?
Why I chose these sect of people is because, like I said, they ave distinguished themselves in the areas they found themselves. Let's begin with Kamala Devi Harris.
Kamala Devi Harris: She is currently the Vice President of the United States of America. Sher bougening protfolio is really interesting. A one time Attorney General for the state of California (2011-2017) and a senator representing California between (2017-2021) before she was nominated by her party, the Democratic Party as a running mate to the current president of the United States of America. She is the first female vice president and the highest-ranking female official in U.S. history, as well as the first African-American and first Asian-American vice president. Such an impressive record really.
The next person is Angela Dorothea Merkel:
Angela Dorothea Merkel is a German scientist and politician who served as Chancellor of Germany from (2005 - 2021). She was thus, the first female Chancellor of Germany. But before then, she had held office as Leader of the Opposition from (2002 - 2005) and as Leader of the Christian Democratic Union [CDU] from (2000 - 2018).
The last but not the least on my list is Beyoncé Giselle Knowles-Carter:
A member of the R&B girl group Destiny's Child, one of the best-selling girl groups of all time, Beyoncé Giselle Knowles-Carter is an American singer, songwriter, and businesswoman also popularly known as Queen Bey. She has many hit songs to her name such as her debut album Dangerously in love and others. Beyoncé is regarded as one of the best entertainers of her generation. Her contributions to music and visual media have made her a significant pop culture personality of the twenty-first century.
What will I talk about with them?
I will talk about various issues with them. Beginning from how they rose to fame and what really inspired them. How they have managed to remain at the top of their games and most importantly how they combine their office or work with family life. I believe this will run for hours, assuming it were to be an interview.
All in all, these ladies inspires me and I so.much admire their courage to excel in wherever they are and whatever they do.
