Genesis League Releases Roadmap

Genesis League Roadmap

If you have SPS staked right now then you're also getting GLX tokens.

GLX tokens are part of the Genesis League and is the governance token. Right now staking GLX boosts a rather healthy APR and the price isn't so bad either at $0.03 which does compare it well with SPS current value.

Not only are you earning GLX tokens by staking them but you're also earning what is known as GLGT which will be a voucher type system for the game. More details on that later!

The Roadmap

I wanted to go over some of my own thoughts about the current roadmap. I'll be honest right out of the gate in saying I thought this game was far more developed then what it actully is. I'm wondering if others feel that way as well?

Currently Live

The ground work is in and I think one of the biggest things going on for the game right now that people are excited about is pure speculation. The reason is there's not much of a product yet. So right now staking is a critical driving factor of the game.

Q1

Q1 looks like it's just more groundwork at the moment. However it does start to introduce some key aspects which are going to start hyping things up.

GLUSD minting In which full details for that can be found here https://whitepaper.genesisleaguesports.com/tokenomics/genesis-league-usd-stablecoin-glusd-token

In short the GLUSD is a stability token which is used in game. At any point in time players can convert $1 worth of GLX into 1 GLUSD which will be used for things such as buying and sell packs. Buy sell and rent NFTs on the marketplace and pay for in game items and transactions.

Outside of that we will be getting some designs and card layout. We got a sneak peak of this in the recent town hall in which we got to vote for what design we liked the best.

The left hand side card design won 31 to 15.

Q2

This is where things get interesting and I have to say hitting launch in Q2 from where we are now sounds pretty impressive and I do question it a bit as any game or platform I've ever been with never hits marks and there are always delays. That being said a Q2 launch would be pretty epic and it's far away at all.

Future

Rental markets is going to be a big one again. That's a big aspect of the current Splinterlands system and honestly in the old times of Splinterlands in the bull run I was renting out about $50 a day worth in cards and yes I still kick myself in the butt that I didn't log the hours/days and honestly what would have been weeks to list and manage all my cards at that time. I feel as if I had I would have been around the $150+ a day mark. Let's be honest that's pretty amazing for a game!

Overall the roadmap looks promising. The release date of the game also looks promising and could hit the start of the next bull run which could be a massive timing factor for the game.

What are your thoughts about the roadmap? Let me know down in the comments.
