Knowing Sea catfish
Hi everyone, on this occasion I want to show you the fish I bought at the market this morning. This fish is commonplace we see, right? Yes of course because this fish is very similar to catfish. However, this fish is not freshwater catfish, but sea catfish. Well, without lingering anymore I will explain a little about this fish.
The name of this fish is hardhesd catfish. Indonesians know this fish as sea catfish, or "ikan manyung". This fish is found in the north sea of Java. However, it is possible that these fish can be found in other marine areas, such as where I live now, namely Aceh. This fish closely resembles a catfish in shape and its whiskers are almost deceiving to the eye which is very similar to catfish. It's just that, these fish can grow bigger than normal catfish.
The difference between this fish and ordinary catfish can be seen from the shape of its eyes which are slightly oval and have pointed fins on the top of this fish. If we look carefully at eating a lot, we will find the difference between catfish and sea catfish.
This fish is edible, rich in protein and can be useful for natural wound healing. For cooking it is free, this fish can be cooked in many variations of food, can be cooked in broth, can be fried and can be salted. Very interesting, right ?. And thankfully I cooked this fish this morning. It tastes delicious, sweet, of course very good.
