¿Qué tal amigos de Splinterlands?
Tenía un tiempo considerable sin hacer una publicación, comentándoles sobre mis progresos o batallas increíbles de este juego. Pero, realmente no he estado jugando para competir, solo para participar en los Minis torneos organizados actualmente por mi gran amigo @bulkathos y es por temas de diversión.
Recientemente, estoy tratando de decidir entre comprar el pase de batalla para competir en Modo Wild o si intentarlo en formato Modern, pero, me encuentro con el debate que de seguro muchos de ustedes se han encontrado y es el tema de la variedad de cartas que se puede usar en uno de los formatos y en el otro no. Por otra parte, está el tema de que considero que las batallas en formato Moderno son muy, pero muy fuertes, porque aun estando en Novato me he conseguido con contrincantes que tienen cartas que son mucho más fuertes que las que tengo.
Bueno, podría decir que también he estado jugando sin mucha concentración porque hay jugadas que me han salido realmente estúpidas, mientras, hay otras que sí les pongo corazón y atención, pero, igual, me voy a perdida.

I had a considerable time without making a post, telling you about my progress or amazing battles of this game. But, I haven't really been playing to compete, just to participate in the Minis tournaments currently organized by my great friend @bulkathos and it's for fun stuff.Recently, I'm trying to decide between buying the battle pass to compete in Wild Mode or whether to try Modern format, but, I'm running into the debate that I'm sure many of you have encountered and that is the issue of the variety of cards that can be used in one of the formats and not in the other. On the other hand, there is the issue that I consider that the battles in Modern format are very, very strong, because even being in Novice I have gotten with opponents who have cards that are much stronger than the ones I have.
Well, I could say that I have also been playing without much concentration because there are moves that have been really stupid, while there are others that I put heart and attention, but, still, I'm going to get lost.
Hace poco tuve un par de batallas con mi gran amigo @cpol y me puse a analizar una de sus jugadas y a la vez, él me enseñó a usar una carta que tengo en posesión, pero que no lo había sacado mayor provecho. Luego, tuve otro encuentro con el gran @bulkathos y también preste atención a las jugadas que realiza y me di de cuenta la manera en como usa la misma carta que ocupaba @cpol y bueno, dicen que para aprender hay que poner en práctica y eso fue lo que hice.
Recently I had a couple of battles with my great friend @cpol and I started to analyze one of his moves and at the same time, he taught me how to use a card that I have in my possession, but I had not taken advantage of it. Then, I had another meeting with the great @bulkathos and I also paid attention to the moves he makes and I realized the way he uses the same card that @cpol used and well, they say that to learn you have to put into practice and that's what I did.

This card belongs to the element Life, its name is: Drybone Barbarian and it has some stats that could be considered really good, but, what really makes this card special? Well, I share its characteristics/stats:

- Mele Damage: 4
- Speed: 2

- Ability: Enrage
The stats I shared refer to the card when it is at level one, but, at its highest level, it reaches 6 Mele points and the Retaliate and Knock Out abilities are added.
En las batallas que tuve contra @cpol notaba que cuando usaba cartas con la habilidad Enrage, me eran difícil tocarlas y, incluso, hubo una batalla donde ni siquiera alcance a bajarla aunque sea un punto de vida.

In the battles I had against @cpol I noticed that when I used cards with the Enrage ability, it was difficult for me to touch them, and there was even a battle where I couldn't even lower it by one life point.

Cuando tuve la batalla contra @bulkathos noté que la carta con la habilidad Enrage tendía a subir aún más sus estadísticas y en una hizo una jugada que de una me mando a dormir.
Partiendo de las batallas que tuve con @cpol y @bulkathos decidí intentar replicar la técnica para ver como me iba porque realmente estaba perdiendo mucho y veía que ellos alcanzaban a darle buen uso a la carta Drybone Barbarian, mientras yo la tenía arrumada agarrando telarañas.
When I had the battle against @bulkathos I noticed that the card with the Enrage skill tended to raise his stats even more and in one he made a move that sent me to sleep.
Based on the battles I had with @cpol and @bulkathos I decided to try to replicate the technique to see how I was doing because I was really losing a lot and I could see that they were able to make good use of the Drybone Barbarian card, while I was stuck with it grabbing cobwebs.

Se me presento una excelente oportunidad para utilizar a Drybone Barbarian, porque me toco una batalla que añadía la habilidad Reach a todas las unidades.
Para esta ocasión envíe una carta con la habilidad Martyr adelante, deje a Drybone en segunda posición. Para reforzar a Drybone, seleccione un invocador que tiene el efecto de sanar a los monstruos aliados que estén en primera posición y, para colocar a prueba algo que creo le entendí a @cpol, utilice una carta que reduce la velocidad de los monstruos del contrincante.
I had an excellent opportunity to use Drybone Barbarian, because I had a battle that added the Reach ability to all units.
For this occasion I sent a card with the Martyr ability up front, leaving Drybone in second position. To reinforce Drybone, select a summoner that has the effect of healing allied monsters that are in first position and, to test something that I think I understood @cpol, use a card that reduces the speed of the opponent's monsters.
Creo que cabe la posibilidad de que si el contrincante tiene una velocidad menor que la carta que tiene la habilidad Enrage, esta pueda que falle alguno de los ataques. Aunque, con certeza, no sé decir si es cierto porque mi contrincante no tuvo buena oportunidad para infligir mayor daño con sus cartas de ataque cuerpo a cuerpo.
Lo que sí, es que debo agradecer a mis maestros @cpol y @bulkathos por la técnica compartida porque, ahora si le daré mejor uso a mi carta Drybone Barbarian y, sí, voy a procurar seguir jugando en formato Modern para ver que tan lejos logro llegar, solo, debo cambiar mi método de rentar cartas y hacer uno que otro ajuste.

I think there is a possibility that if the opponent has a slower speed than the card that has the Enrage ability, it might miss some of the attacks. Although, for sure, I can't say if it's true because my opponent didn't have a good chance to inflict more damage with his melee attack cards.
What I do know is that I must thank my teachers @cpol and @bulkathos for the shared technique because, now I will make better use of my Drybone Barbarian card and, yes, I will try to keep playing in Modern format to see how far I can get, I just have to change my method of renting cards and make one or another adjustment.
