La historia de Craig inicia en un hogar tan estricto como cálido, con hermanos que no conocían otro idioma que el amor y la lealtad, unidos por un pegamento más fuerte que eso que llaman consanguinidad, y una madre que no se definiría como cariñosa pero bien que les has brindado a su amor, luchando por su comodidad, dejándoles valores tatuados en el corazón y enseñando cada día que la vida aunque dura, vivida de la manera correcta brinda gran satisfacción.
Craig es como cualquier otro músico de la familia RisingStar, un astuto viajero, amante de la música y soñador de profesión, un hombre con todas las letras que cree en el amor, pero aún no ha sido flechado de manera irreversible, así que mientras mira por la ventana en espera al despegue del avión es consciente que en la vida no se puede tener todo.
Craig's story begins in a home as strict as warm, with siblings who knew no other language than love and loyalty, united by a stronger glue than what they call consanguinity, and a mother who would not be defined as affectionate but who has given them her love, fighting for their comfort, leaving values tattooed in their hearts and teaching them every day that life, though hard, lived in the right way brings great satisfaction.
Craig is like any other musician in the RisingStar family, a wily traveler, music lover and dreamer by profession, a man with all the letters who believes in love, but has not yet been irreversibly smitten, so as he looks out the window waiting for the plane to take off he is aware that in life you can't have it all.
En su hogar, su mamá le espera pensando que hacer para que su hijo más joven “siente cabeza”, pues sabe que no será eterna y aunque la vida nómada de Craig le cause grandes satisfacciones, nada reemplaza el calor del hogar, sus hermanos ya han echado raíces y la vida aunque imperfecta los hizo madurar hacia el camino indicado.
Un sonido en la puerta alerta la llegada de Craig quien deposita su maleta en el suelo, y se sienta a disfrutar de su desayuno mientras escucha a su mama.
At home, his mother waits for him thinking about what to do to make her youngest son "settle down", because she knows it won't last forever and although Craig's nomadic life brings him great satisfaction, nothing replaces the warmth of home, his brothers have already put down roots and life, although imperfect, has made them mature towards the right path.
A sound at the door alerts the arrival of Craig who places his suitcase on the floor, and sits down to enjoy his breakfast while listening to his mother.
Una mañana Craig parte a una oficina para poner en orden sus documentos para el próximo viaje de trabajo, en esta sala de espera una mujer conversa por teléfono con quien parece ser su familia y mientras sonríe lo deja hipnotizado. Piensa en acercarse para conversar y se da cuenta que es la mujer que se convertirá en un lugar seguro como el que siempre ha buscado.
Quien pensaría que esa mujer que conoció por casualidad compartiría tanto con él, hasta consolidar una relación que se ve afectada por los viajes propios de su estilo de vida, por lo que decide sacrificar lo que tanto ama por su nuevo amor.
One morning Craig leaves for an office to put in order his documents for the next work trip, in this waiting room a woman is talking on the phone with who seems to be his family and while she smiles she leaves him hypnotized. He thinks about approaching her for a chat and realizes that she is the woman who will become a safe place like the one he has always been looking for.
Who would think that this woman he met by chance would share so much with him, until they consolidate a relationship that is affected by the travels of his lifestyle, so he decides to sacrifice what he loves so much for his new love.
Con el tiempo Craig se siente vacio, asiste a un trabajo que no lo satisface y hace todo lo posible para cambiar, ajustándose a lo que su amada le pide. Sin embargo, nada funciona y cada día se hace peor la convivencia, las constantes exigencias lo convierten en un despojo de lo que hace poco fue destruyendo así no solo su relación sino todo a su alrededor.
Sumido en la tristeza, la angustia se hunde en un abismo difícil de superar, su familia lo acompaña y trata de apoyarlo, pero el siente que sacrificó tanto y aun así no obtuvo la felicidad, así que decide tomar su maleta para viajar de nuevo y recuperar lo que creyó perdido.
Over time Craig feels empty, he attends a job that does not satisfy him and does everything possible to change, adjusting to what his beloved asks of him. However, nothing works and every day it gets worse, the constant demands turn him into a spoil of what he was just a short time ago destroying not only their relationship but everything around him.
Submerged in sadness, anguish led him to sink into an abyss difficult to overcome, his family accompanies him and tries to support him but he feels that he sacrificed so much and still did not get happiness, so he decides to take his suitcase to travel again and regain what he thought he had lost.
Por meses se dedica a visitar espacios en el mundo que le abrieron la mirada en lo bello de la vida y en un momento se sienta con la vitalidad para reconstruir ese destino que adaptó a una fantasia.
En uno de estos viajes conoce un anciano que parece el piloto de un avión, mira como el hombre se despide de su esposa y toma su maleta. Curioso le pregunta ¿Cuál es el secreto de su felicidad? Y él le indica que su familia, pues a pesar que viaja tanto, el universo le presentó una mujer que no se ajusta a su estilo pero comparte su amor por lo que hace, siendo así su verdadero hogar.
Desde ese día Craig entiende el verdadero sentido de un hogar y el amor, ya que no se trata de tener un compañero de vida que se ajuste a ti, sino de una persona que entre afinidad y complicidad te brinde felicidad.
For months, he dedicates himself to visiting places in the world that have opened his eyes to the beauty of life and at one point he feels the vitality to reconstruct that destiny that he adapted to a fantasy.
On one of these trips he meets an old man who looks like the pilot of an airplane, watches as the man says goodbye to his wife and takes his suitcase. Curious, he asks him what is the secret of his happiness? And he tells him his family, because even though he travels so much, the universe introduced him to a woman who doesn't fit his style but shares his love for what he does, thus being his true home.
From that day on Craig understands the true meaning of a home and love, since it is not about having a life partner who fits you, but a person who between affinity and complicity brings you happiness.
Esta es una historia romántica para el Concurso de RisingStar de la mano de nuestros amigos de @hivenftgamela, en esta oportunidad en el marco del mes del amor, el verdadero sentido de un hogar y lo que significa tener un compañero de vida.
Cuando tienes el indicado no debes renunciar a lo que amas, el cambio no se considera un sacrificio y todo fluye sin mucha resistencia, de allí que el amor signifique aceptación y respeto.
