A Beautiful Sublime Sunday - Revisit With the Canada Goose Family and a Visit to the Moon...

Nature continues to amaze me - every day there is something new to discover as I set off for some photo adventures. I have learnt to keep my camera close (except when I'm trying to get some work done in the garden and I find it a distraction breaking my focus on the task).

Right when I rise I take my camera as I step outdoors in the courtyard greeting the day!

Today I had a nice surprise with the moon still bright in the sky by the pine trees.

I love to zoom in to take a look at the mysterious moon's surface.

I zoomed in even more to get even more details although I couldn't fit the whole moon in the frame.
It looked almost like there was a mountain range.

During the last full moon I had taken some shots. I had awoke to see the bright moonbeams shining through my window. Again the moon was sitting by the pine trees that made for some interesting shots. Have a look...

And of course I like to zoom for a closer look at the moon -

I've learned to take my camera along for the trip to town and this last visit I wasn't disappointed as I stopped for a photo shoot at the pond on the way to town.

I saw a few ducks on the pond so I pulled over to the side of the road and began taking some shots.

Lo and behold out from the reeds paraded a huge family of Canada Geese. I must have been too close to where they were resting so momma goose bought them out onto the safety of the water taking them all the way to the far edge where they feed by the bull rushes.

This was the same family of Canada Geese I did a post on early when they were crossing the highway to get to the pond. It was quite a scene as 22 goslings paraded across the highway. See that post here

The amazing thing is that all twenty two of the goslings were still with their parents and had matured even more. Have a look...
