The biggest fixture this week was played yesterday. Man City vs Liverpool was the star of the show. This was a game between two top teams, considered as the two best teams in the country and possibly the two title race rivals and teams expected to be in the top 2 this season. This was a top match so as usual, it was expected to be a tough match for both teams. Looking at the stats, there wasn’t really any drastic difference in stats as both teams were very close to each other. Liverpool took the lead early in the game, Salah put Liverpool in front after converting a penalty on the 13th minute. Manchester City got their equalizer in the first half… Gabriel Jesus scored the equalizer for Man City on the 31st minute. And from that point, there wasn’t any thing much that happened after the first half.

West Brom (0) vs Tottenham (1) – A late goal by Tottenham was enough to secure them an all-important 3 points. Harry Kane was on the scoresheet as he broke the deadlock for Tottenham, scoring the only goal of the match on the 88th minute to win the game for his team as they earn the crucial 3 points away from home.

Leicester City (1) vs Wolves (0) – This game was quite the contrast of the Spurs game in terms of time of goal… as Leicester only needed 15 minutes into the game to find a break through. After that goal, nothing much really happened even though both teams had a couple of chances but it ended 1-0 to Leicester City as they claim top spot in the premier league table. This week has been entertaining so far. The premier league matches has come to a pause as players head over to their respective international teams to participate in the international week. We hope things go on smoothly as we look forward to the resumption of the club football matches in about 2 weeks’ time. Till then, enjoy the break and as always we hope for a great international football week.
