A Handful Of Down The River Perspectives

Greetings, friends!

A couple of days ago I wrote that I was returning to a place where the river meets he sea. To an area with lots of stories and lots of things going on around. A semi-wild place. Lots of structures have been built in the area and many more will be built on top of the old ones or besides them. But it's still a vast area. For now.

I made a selection of photos, all fresh, made today. Still hot and I am sharing them while scratching a few mosquito bites.

Let's go down the river. Some of it I visited by boat. Next image, though, was taken from the north bank.

So, that was how Kamchia River rolls...actually, flows into the middle of the Black Sea coast of Bulgaria.

The river changes, though. It looks differently season to season, year to year. Not only this one but most of our Black Sea Basin rivers. Sometimes they
are wide when they reach the salt waters, and sometimes they end in swamps just meters before they break out of the sands on the shore.

Lavish forests surround this one. And lots of resorts among the forest. Some of those, not functioning anymore.

Next time, I intend to show you how some of them look and I will let you imagine what they looked like when they were still maintained and inhabited by tourists.

To me, some of them are more attractive than modern ones. But that might just be childhood nostalgia.

Peace!

Manol
