We love Autumn, in my family. And we now have a tradition to take a weekend trip to see the most colorful trees our beautiful state of Minnesota has to offer. This trip it was just me, my husband and our oldest daughter.
Here are some of the photos I grabbed from the lovely resort where we stayed and our hike in the woods.
We found a beautiful hiking area with an extensive trail system. The weather was a little cool, which made it perfect.
There were a lot of mushrooms. I couldn't help grabbing some pictures of them.
There were some lovely bridges over what must be swampy areas in summer.
It was such a great day for a hike! Back at our cabin, I took another walk because the trees there were just astoundingly colorful!
The sun really illuminates the colors!
The lake near out cabin was quite pretty.
