It's Sunday... And it's time for another Beautiful Sunday and Sublime Sunday. So, I'm trying something new this week. Something out of the box, something different, something wild, something odd and who knows where this Sunday will lead us.
And for this Sunday, I'll like to share about yesterday's Halloween celebration at Nguyen Hue (Walking Street) in Saigon, Vietnam. A fellow friend had come to visit me and we decided to indulge ourselves in some good New Zealand steak for dinner. Since it was pouring cats & dogs outside, we weren't expecting much Halloween activities. Boy ! Were we wrong...
At Nguyen Hue street, it's always a place to see celebrations and festivities come to life. I'm glad we decided to have dinner around here, if not we would've missed out from all the Halloween fun.
An experience with The Nun
There were crowds of people - of all walks of life and nationalities. People were dressed for the occasion in their best Halloween costumes and of course Cosplay as well. We walked along the street enjoying what society had to offer us and of course caught many photos and videos too. These are several of the most unique ones.
Lady of the Flower Power
I can tell you he's a Drag Queen and a beautiful one as well. Imagine just how much effort is put in for his costume. As he walk along the street, people like me walk to him to take photos with & of him - and with no charge at all. So unlike in the western countries where one is expected to pay to enjoy such photography.
Another amazing Cosplay in action
This is my staff in her costume. I'm amazed I could recognise her even with all the make-up. Definitely a millennial at heart and wanting to join in the fun too.
Even babies are not exempted from the entire Halloween theme 😆
If you have Halloween parties on the streets in your home, I can't wait to hear about it.. Till then, Happy Sunday & Welcome November !
