Remember the other day I posted alot alot of food on my blog, the main dish being 'Bak Kut Teh'? You can read the post here if you liked blog with alot of food. We had two packets of huge Bak Kut Teh soup the other day, so we had plenty of leftover.

What to do with the leftover packet of BKT soup?

I made BKT mushroom and added in some lean meat as well. It was easy to just boil everything in magic cooker my mum bought for me last time, switch on the power and you could do other housechores.

I was glad when it was Bak Kut Teh soup, my sons would happily eat it just with steamed rice. The soup was appetizing,my eldest especially could finish a big bowl of rice.

But there was surprise from my husband when we were about to start our dinner. He was on duty to deliver food, and he was back just on time for dinner. Not only that, he packed for us yummy noodles too!

Hokkien Char

This was the second time hubby packed this noodle from a famous shop at Subang, the thick noodle was charcoal fried with pork lard, soy sauce and other seasonings only they knew. It is my favourite noodle, I ate it since 7 years old. Haha.

Wat Tan Hor

Wat Tan Hor - Direct translate would be smooth-egg-flatnoodle. The flat noodle was stir fry with soy sauce and garlic oil then set aside. They then cooked the yummy savoury egg gravy with vegetables, prawns and meat. Both combined together to let rhw flat noodles soaked in the yummy soup. So nice to eat together with slices chillies.

The children still chose to eat the BKT soup with rice, so me and husband happily eat the noodles. A day to give thanks when there were food on the table.
