I have this special friend who always treats my children as her own. She is very pastoral and very thoughtful eventhough her plates are already very full. She is a homemaker, a church social worker as well as a great mother to three awesome children; 10, 9, 7. So you can imagine how hectic her life is. If you did read some of my food blessings blogs, some of the food were given by her, like mangoes, and all sorts of fruits.
Potatoes
This time, it is potatoes. She bought the whole big sack thinking she could share with me. I wanted to pay half but she didn't want to take with the reason that they are not expensive. Therefore, I wanted to do something special for her too. At first, I wanted to do brownie but time didn't allow. So while doing groceries for home, I drove to a sundry shop nearby and grabbed something she loves — coffee. I wished to make it special so I bought a more special coffee, abit more expensive than the usual coffee can we drink.

It was latte made of 100% arabica beans. I had never tried before, she tried and let me know that it wasn't too sweet,so good.
Taking all the photos in my car, so let's selfie too. It had been awhile I selfie. Too busy taking care of home and kids. Haha.

Not sure whether can you tell that I was smiling but oh gosh, more wrinkles nowadays.
After selfie, I headed to her place to collect the potatoes. No photo of her as we were busy catching up during the short meet up. She was also happy to receive the coffee drink! 😊
Upon reaching home, I found out she also gave a pack of mini Mandarin oranges for the kids. This friend of mine is very big-hearted. The boys were happy as Mandarin Oranges were one of their favorite. They exclaimed that aunty knows them well.

They say 'a friend in need, is a friend indeed.' It is true. Treasure them if they exist.
